Red Dead Redemption is a Western epic, set at the turn of the 20th century when the lawless and chaotic badlands began to give way to the expanding reach of government and the spread of the Industrial Age. A follow up to the 2004 hit Red Dead Revolver, this game tells the story of former outlaw John Marston, taking players on a great adventure across the American frontier.

Red Dead Redemption features an open-world environment for players to explore, including frontier towns, rolling prairies teaming with wildlife, and perilous mountain passes - each packed with an endless flow of varied distractions. Along the way, players will experience the heat of gunfights and battles, meet a host of unique characters, struggle against the harshness of one of the world’s last remaining wildernesses, and ultimately pick their own precarious path through an epic story about the death of the Wild West and the gunslingers that inhabited it.

Well I'm looking forward to this one now. I mean R* is behind it and we know they don't make bad games anymore. But it looks great, IGN is having a whole exclusive preview if you head on over there for more screen shots and details of the game.

Man. Red Dead Revolver was ridiculously underrated. The open world in that game was amazing, probably the best open world (for it's time) other than GTA. Can't wait for this sequel.

I never played Red Dead Revolver, but I've heard some good things about it.

But yeah, I'm a sucker for Western (especially video games) and I thought Gun was great but where it was lacking it seems like this game is filling in. Hopefully we get more at E3

Seriously. Didn't play the first one but a friend of mine did and he said he enjoyed it a good bit.


Will definitely rent this and if it's any good, I'll pick it up.

How sweet is that artwork? It's straight from a Sergio Leone spaghetti western. Release date is set for April, mark your calendars. I cannot wait.

Im debating with myself which version I want... On one hand, Black Aces appearence is awesome, but I heard his skills dont do so well against Red Joker users... I cant wait for this game, 3/4 days left :D.

Is this a sequel to revolver? Never played that but this looks amazing.

Looks similar to Gun which got universally panned but I really liked it.

Apparently there will be a moral balance for you to juggle as the game progresses, among other elements. It's looking like a juggernaut of a game. Can't wait. Too bad they delayed it by another month =/
