now Vol 1 and Vol 2. Will those compensate the entire series or will there be more?

I doubt it. They will probably be random episodes like the Spider-Man DVDs were. I hope they prove me wrong though.

Hopefully its the full season episodes not just select episodes. But they took way too long to finally release this series cause I bought the whole series (bootleg) on dvd last summer.

They released the single disc "Legend of Wolverine" when X2 came out and it was just a few episodes. I hope they are the full season, and if they are I hope that Spider-Man is next.

Both Volumes are double disc releases and each have a running time of well over 300 minutes. So it's not going to be the usual cheap 4 episodes only route, which makes me happy.

I grew up watching that show. Why can't they just give us the entire series of X-Men and Spider-Man instead of this vol. BS. I don't get it.

Stuff like this has been on eBay for a loooooong time now. I've had the complete original animated series on dvd for quite some time, all on four discs.

Please, it made my day first. I watched this show loooong before you did! ;)

This and Spider-Man is why I got into the comic fandom. Granted, flood waters is the reason I got out... still.

Yeah, my bad, I super-imposed the big 2 onto the price tag. I was still half asleep.

Still a good deal though.

It's amazing how much better these shows are than the X-Men movies.

Of course, that's just the way the world turns. We're talking about an animated series from the 1990's for pete's sake. The 90's had it all down when it came to comic book related media and television, especially the animated shows. (Batman, Spiderman, X Men, Tick, Liquid Television) etc.

there will NEVER, as long as we breathe oxygen, as long as the world continues to spin, EVER be a movie based off of a comic book series that'll be more accurate than it's 1990's animated counterpart

just not physically possible

when it comes to live action comic book films, you need to take them with a grain of salt and nothing more. If you try to take a live action adaption too seriously, focus too much on the flaws, you will NEVER enjoy them whatsoever

comic books and cartoons will always be superior

ALWAYS

When's the last time physics had to be obeyed to shoot a movie? I wasn't talking accuracy, anyway. The X-Men cartoon wasn't 100% accurate to the comic either. But it at least kept the personalities and abilities of the characters the same.

They can be compared within their own genre, however, which is what I meant. The X-Men cartoon is of much better quality and development than the X-Men movies.
