Who's pumped? It's been seven or eight years since Stiff Upper Lip was released. The first single " Rock n Roll Train" was released the other day and i didn't see a thread for it. What do you think? The video is below.

AC/DC rehashing old riffs...I never thought I'd see the day;)
I don't hate AC/DC btw just don't geek out over them like a lot of people do. I will say thought that I would see them in concert If I had a chance
I'm not excited for the CD but I am for a concert here.

All the AC/DC songs sound like the same two, to me. And believe me, I've given them a fair chance to see if that was just a preliminary opinion, and it's not, they can't write.

If you don't like AC/DC, you're saying you just don't like having fun. That's exactly what AC/DC is, just a fun band. If you listen to them trying to figure out the meaning of life or are looking for solace after you caught your girlfriend going down on a Latin major at your community college, you're looking in the wrong place.
I dig AC/DC, I have all their albums....and yes, they are all carbon copies of themelves. Same old riffs and the same verse, chorus, solo, chorus routine. The thing is, their absolute worst albums like Ballbreaker and Blow Up Your Video are still 100x better than most rock albums released today (well Ballbreaker, maybe only 50x). And you'd be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't enjoy songs like Highway to Hell, Thunderstruck, or Money Talks.

Hey, what the heck? What's with the Ballbreaker hate? I rather dig that album. The Furor, Whiskey On The Rocks, Boogie Man, and particularly Hail Caesar are all ****in awesome. I might even rank Hail Caesar among my favorite AC/DC songs ever. And while I don't have all their albums, I used to, all the way up to Razor's Edge, then everybody started switching from tapes to CD's and I just never replaced them all.
Anyway, **** I can ramble. The point is I thought Ballbreaker was pretty good. And that's one of the things I've always liked about AC/DC, they're not one of these nancy-**** bands that constantly thinks they have to reinvent themselves or start incorporating whatever sound is trendy at the time into their songs. They've been consistent in their ass-kickery for over thirty years now, can bands like Metallica say that?

I never said it was bad, only bad by comparison, kinda like Godfather III syndrome. ;)
I would have said Fly on the Wall, because that's one of their least popular, but I really dig that album. Sink the Pink, Back in Business, Playing with Girls, and the title track....all awesome.
