So Ubisoft is completely rebooting the series for this generation, and I have to say I really really like what I see.

Developer Walkthrough:

Part 2: http://www.gametrailers.com/player/36543.html

I agree.

"Again" doesnt really make sense, because:

1. It doesnt have anything to do with the previous games

2. The gameplay is completely new. You only fight 1 on 1 fights. Thats WAY different then sands of time trilogy. Its back to its roots.

3. A totally different graphical style

It IS a new series. What is the same is what makes prince of persia, prince of persia. Acrobatic puzzles, combat, prince and a princess and set in Persia.

I think the new graphical style could be cool with the Prince gameplay. It just seems weird that they would "reboot" again when they just did that, and I thought those games were good. Maybe its just the "reboot" word throwing me off.

Again makes perfect sense but this is the second time they will have "rebooted" it.

And it does look cool, though a bit too Final Fantasy-ish. Still I'd probably check it out.

I think this reboot is cooler though. Especially because I didn't like the direction they took it in by the end of last generation (Really, the prince has a dark side, how creative! /sarcasm). This on the other hand is much more appealing.

fighting did look pretty badass, although id agree the design is... questionable.

I don't think every game needs to be rebooted every time a new generation of consoles comes out. Yeah, improve and evolve, but not reboot.

True, but after 3 games and a completed storyline it would be dumb to continue the sands of time games ;)

Well, whatever the name is, the game looked awesome. That is all that matters ;)

Well, this game looks better to me than the last 3, so I could care less about the word reboot. I think it's definitely a welcome change.

I'm very excited for this game.

Hey Sands of Time was voted best game of the year! I like Warrior Within, didn't get a change to finish Two Throne (but it wasn't because I didn't like it).

I think it's funny though, that after the first game everyone complained that the prince was too perky. Then when they made him darker everyone asked why he wasn't funnier like before. :p

but I'll play anything Prince of Persia.
