Is the movie any good? I was thinking about seeing it. It looks like it is this year's Pursuit of Happyness.

Or, more importantly, why I still want to see it.

It was good until they made a really dumb decision towards the end with a couple of characters that was completely ridiculous. They could have taken the next 10 minutes after that and thrown it on the cutting room floor and had a better movie. It was really emotional up to that point, but after that it was just stupid.

It kind of an Oliver Twist story.

I liked it for a different reason - music. My son's bass instructor made him go see the movie for the techinal aspect of the music. Musically it is a very good learning tool in progression, major and minor variations.

Loved the movie, a must see for those who study music.

this movie is best thing ever! one critic said it was awesome! a masterpiece! i don't know who the critic was, but i agree with him. OH PLEAZZZZZZ

It was pretty much boring.
