I am surprised that this thread does not exist yet.
The show premiered last night at 8PM on ABC. This is the type of show that a couple can watch together; had a whimsical, happy feel to it. It did not seem to have the usual filming style to it; almost at times a surreal, dreamlike feel to it.
For those who do not know, the focus of the show is on man who can touch dead people (and animals) and bring them back to life. If he touches them a second time, the person goes back to being dead. If he does not touch them a second time within 1 minute, someone else with close proximity of the original dead person will die.
I enjoyed the show and I look forward to watching it again. If you missed the premiere, ABC is replaying it this Friday, October 5, at 8PM.

Had a Lemony Snickets feel to it

Still need to watch it. Recorded it, but haven't yet. I really liked the previews for it when they first started giving sneak peaks ages ago.

I really enjoyed this show. The narrator made the show have this "bed time story" feel towards it.

I loved it as well, I hope this is one of the many shows that stay and don't get cancelled.

Just watched it. Really liked it. It's definitely one of the more unique and clever of the shows currently on the air. I wonder how much of the surreal feeling they're going to continue with it. It started out really crazy, but then started settling a little more normal about half way through (well, if you can call any of the stuff happening here "normal").

I am so pissed. My DVR did not record it for some reason. I might have screwed up the season pass priorities, but missed the pilot. Is it one of those shows that if you miss the pilot you are forever behind or can I pick up on the storyline currently?

Just watched it via abc.com (which is excellent, by the way). I really like the premise so far. I hope they continue with the "feel" of the show; that is, I like the "Big Fish" look/feel this show has.

I finally watched this, I think the show has a lot of ptential. But one has to wonder how long this show can stay interesting.
I felt like I was watching Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.

I enjoyed it more than I thought I would. the TV spots were kind of turning me off. Ned is just so darling and it's just a cute show, you're right Chewie the narrator does have that "bedtime" feel to it, makes me like it even more.

Sufficiently strange and intelligent enough to keep me watching.

I wasn't a fan of the second episode :(

That episode was really weird. I mean, I guess the show is suppose to be weird, but it wasn't weird in a good way like the first episode was. I really didn't liked the "mystery" plot they had going, and the pie eating girl made me kinda uncomfortable.
I can't put a precise finger on it. It was just as weird as the first episode, but I just didn't find it all that entertaining this time around. It was mostly just awkward, and sadly, kind of boring.

I thought it was pretty well done - a mystery to follow, weird car, pathetic strange girl, the knitting big guy, The love quadrangle with him, the girl he can't touch, the girl who wants to be touched, and the dog who likes salt :D
I bet we see the floor waxer again

I actually liked the 2nd episode more or as much as the season preimere.
It's more unique then anything I've seen on TV.
It has a Tim Burton vibe to it too.

I liked the second episode a lot. The eco-car developer driving a hummer (and having it subsequently run out of gas) was hilarious.

I really love this show. It's quirky and funny. I loved the kissing through bodybags this week. :D

I found the second episode to be the same quality as the season premiere. both were enjoyable.

I liked the second one more, I see now what niche this show is going to find. Can you think of any other Whodunit shows with a quirky edge?
I thought the mystery was very undeveloped, but they'll get better at this. I loved the humor and the feel of it though, I think this show could really grow into somethign great. Some of the best shows took a while to get off their feet. The shows that start out great never seem to make it past seaosn 2 or 3.

Which isn't always a bad thing. Sometimes shows really should stop while they're ahead.

So far this show is great
every time I watch it, i want to have a piece of PIE.. damm them for that.
It will be intersting how long a show with this formula will last thought. I think it will burn bright for a short time before it goes away.

I was just thinking - he makes pies but he can only touch the fruit once.
They showed him using rotten fruit and touching it so it becomes fresh.
Does that mean something else dies? Since he touches something and waits longer than 60 seconds.

They answered that in this episode, He has flowers in the room to "take the fall".
I thought this episode was great, I love this show. Makes me laugh more than any other one hour drama I can think of.

I did like this recent episode. I haven't yet felt a connection to Chuck really, though. She annoys me on many occasions. I like most of every other character though.

Yeah, can't explain it, but Chuck is missing something. It's like her personality died with her and never came back.
