Does anyone else find it odd how much coverage Princess Diana is getting these days?

It got quite enough coverage a month ago for that tribute concert.

I've noticed all the coverage lately too... but yea, it makes sense since we are approaching the anniversary of her death.

This movie "The Murder of Princess Diana" is actually airing tomorrow night (9PM) on Lifetime. The preview looked pretty good and Jennifer Morrison (from House) is in it.

I just noticed that Starz is premiering The Queen this week if I'm not mistaken. I just saw a preview of it on Encore since I just subscribed to some Encore channels recently.

Oh, her birthday was earlier too wasn't it.
I can't wait for one of those boys to get married.

Yeah her birthday was in July. But frankly, I really don't see either of them getting married any time soon. & If & when they do. Their wife will forever be compared to their mother. & the on going speculation of would diana approve of the woman. It is just the nature of the beast. Those women (whomever they are) will be under just as much pressure as Diana was ( If not More).

It is just a shame really that Diana couldn't find the happiness that she really needed. A mother who takes off & leaves her & the family. & then being used to birth the Heir to the throne & not for love.

I think that she found this out pretty quickly after the announcement of the marriage( but it was too late to back out then):(

Does anyone else find it odd how much coverage Princess Diana is getting these days your kidding right. the woman has been dead(REST IN PEACE) for 10 years & is still powerful enough to attention eventhough she is here. There will always be talk of Diana. Just like with JFK.

It will die down more & more as time goes along. But, every year around this time the talk will once again turn to her.

I was in London when it happen (she died) my first time ever over seas.
Not the holiday I envisioned at all. The city shut down, flags at half staff, musuems and of course the castle were a no go.

Yeah, the boys are still very young and if they follow in Pa's steps they'll have a lot of playing the field even when they do get hitched.

That would be the only reason I'd even think of watching it...

Sure "the People's Princess" was great but she's dead, she died in a car crash and there is nothing more to it. They'll keep getting all these inquirers into it and they'll keep coming back with the same answer but they keep getting new inquirers and will do so till they get the answer they want, even if it's the wrong answer.

I was actually scheduled to go on leave and take a trip to London when she died. My friend and I decided to reschedule our trip just so we wouldn't have to deal with the media circus that we knew was going to ensue.

I remember the day they burred her... I completed Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic 3 together for the first time in a long while as Sonic.

It was so boring nothing at all on TV and I was really young, 11.

I left the day of the funeral, I almost felt like I should've extended my stay. Glad I didn't, I can only tolerate crowds for a bit before I need to start taking people out. Unless there's booze involved. :)
