Its funny how you have a pet for many years, it becomes a part of the family. You cant go a day without touching or petting it, hugging it or talking to it. A cat I had for 15 years had to be put down today. Noticed he wasnt eating and he wasnt his normal self, we took him in to the vet and he was diabetic and had some liver failure. Vet offered to put him on IV's and that would make him feel better for a while but he suggested the kindest thing to do was to put him down. So we did. Its really sad. When I would come in from work he would be right there to greet me or as I woke up he would be right there and rub his head on mine. RIP Sid, We'll miss you

Dude, I'm sorry to hear it, my cat is about 14-15 and every time I go to uni I fear I won't see him again.
