Even though I should be excited for this, since I loved the show to death, I'm just not feeling the approach they're doing for this. Granted, I've never read the comics, so I'm probably an idiot on how serious the Titans are. I just feel a "Batman Begins or Watchman" style approach isn't all that great. Not that I'm saying BB is an awful movie(which It's not). It will probably grow on me once we start getting into casting and trailer talk, but for now, I'm a little skeptical.

This project will be difficult to pull off since the Teen Titans are mostly sidekicks. So, the audience will be confused because the Batman Begins franchise hasn't introduced Robin yet and the others are sidekicks to characters who haven't even gotten their own movie yet.

The comics are more serious than that silly anime thing on TV
Raven amd Cyborg actually have pretty dark origins

I figured that much. At least they should inject some humor, and not make it very very serious.

I second that. They will try, but it'll go nowhere.
I think it's all talk from WB once again. It could be a disaster like CINO. Why can't WB get the other DC superheroes off the ground when Marvel releases up to 3 movies a year. I mean look at Wonder Woman and The Flash. Both movies are in limbo. I still want Green Lantern and Aquaman for crying out loud. But quite frankly Wonder Woman needs to be made first what with the DC Trinity of Batman, Superman and Diana.

a film like this must be given to Joel Schumacher to direct. He is the prefect choice
I lost all respect for Schumacher after the abomination that was Batman and Robin. Schumacher should never touch a comic film again. :nono:

This could be good.
I feel bad for not giving this show a lot of air play on my telly.

Don't care for an Aquaman movie myself... But the show Mercy Reef looked intresting! It never got picked up, and so who knows how that would have done but I would love to see a Green Lantern movie, and I have high hopes to one day see one!
That's seriously the coolest Superhero to never get a movie in the DCU!
I mean the Hal Jordan storyline alone is worthy of it's own trilogy!
They could do trilogies of all the different people to take on the Lantern title in the comics!

An Aquaman movie can be an epic film if put into the hands of a capable director etc. There is a lot of rich history with Orin and his origins discovering he's an heir etc. It's a shame the Aquaman TV series didn't get picked up as the pilot was pretty good.
Still I think the proposed Justice League film should be made first AFTER Wonder Woman gets off the ground.

Lets hope they can pull this one off. Seriously, DC is way behind when put in competition with Marvel when it comes to movies. Let's just hope they aren't doing this for a cash in to beat Marvel!

And Batman, Batman Returns and Superman. I think that's the biggest of them. Also I hated Batman Returns but it was considered a fan favourite I believe.
I personally really liked Constantine... But they haven't had many other big movies.

Will it be Nightwing or Robin? Wasn't Nightwing an Outsider and not a Teen Titan? Will it be family friendly or for the Begins audience? I expect it to be a light bit of nonsense really.

It'd be Robin but I donno witch, and since it's a bunch of teens I'd guess it'd be family friendly. Not that Batman Begins wasn't really family friendly but I see where you're coming from.

Well night wing was the first robin dick grayson and the robin in the teen titians was the younger robin. I think if they just put the teen titians in there own world like they do in the tv show but have a darker tone but with some funny parts. But its hard to market sidekicks of hero's people dont know.
