rsv help

i need to know how to kill ilena at the dam. i'm at the checkpoint where i clear the room and she's upstairs. i get my guy to hack the pc, but every time i do it, the screen pops up and says i failed to kill her. any help? what am i doing wrong?

After you hack the computer, you should be able to just go upstairs...I think their is like, 2-3 bad guys, and you just follow the path till you get to a door. You go through and shoot her.

It's pretty basic...I'm not totally sure, as I didn't have any problems once I hacked the computer.
