I just got a new USB headset/mic to use for gaming: http://www.hearotto.com/Products_OT6.aspx and it’s seriously the best pair I’ve ever used. Not only super-comfy (my old pair gave me deep grooves across the tops of my ears if I’d wear them for more than 30 minutes), but the sound quality is great, and the bass response makes my knees weak. So far I've only listened to music with them, but I was wondering if anyone knows of any MMO’s that have killer sound and would let me open these babies up.

I'm afraid I don't know of any online games with good sound - but I'm sure you could get an adapter for those headphones and play any type of game with them. I'm sort of taken aback at the price of those headphones, they really sound good? They do look durable and I know that OTTO used to make commercial products that were well-reviewed.

They are certainly durable, could hammer nails with them. :) Actually, they are just an average set of USB headphones, except I'd say they have superior sound quality. If you're interested OTTO sent me a coupon for free shipping and 10% off either their bluetooth car kit: www.hearotto.com/Products_OT2.aspx or their mp3 player/headphones: www.hearotto.com/Products_OT3.aspx You just enter FREESHIP in the discount code box.

I thought WoW had pretty good sound, but then again I'm not much of a computer gamer so idk how it compares to others. Guild Wars has pretty good sound too from what I've heard.

I've played Ultima, Star Wars Galaxies, City of Heroes, City of Villains. WoW, Guild Wars: Nightfall, Lineage 2, Auto Assault, Probably 2 more that I can't think of - and one I can't tell you the name of because it's still in beta testing. (Plus I have my name on about 4 more lists for beta testing)

Play a game that strikes your fancy - not because you want to test your sound :D
Most of those games have good sound for one reason or another but not all of them are playable.

I have been playing CoH/CoV since both were in beta though, and might go back to WoW to see the expansion.

And if you want to test your sound. Try Company of Heroes (not an MMO) which got many awards for best sound - which you understand when you play it.

Yeah, I took your advice. I used the otto 'phones for GTA: San Andreas. I had thought of good sound being more overt, but it was really cool to hear all sorts of things in the background that I'd never heard before. I may not be so into shooters and headphones though, my head started to rattle after a while from all the gunshots in my ear.

That mp3 player/headphones dealy looks good to me. Would be handy at the gym and cheaper than getting another ipod. Thanks for the code!
