This reminds me of all that 666 hoopla from last year. The only real evil committed that day was a pointless Omen remake. This was as ridiculous as that Y2K scare.

I don't know what to say. Maybe he sincerely believes what he's saying, or maybe he's just a little nuts. It might also be a fundraising tool. At the very least, it's entertaining. Of course that mass killing prediction is certainly possible, if improbable, but I don't need to fast in the mountains to know that.

If you make enough predictions, sooner or later you get a few right.

If anyone else went on tv and said there was going to be a terrorist attack and mass killing in 2007, they'd probably be arrested.
he is insane and usually says stuff like this 6 times a year. i don't know how he gets away with it, but he does. oh well...

Let's see, my home is about 50 miles away from a "major city", so I should be OK. My vacation's in July, my birthday in September. Of course, Halloween, our anniversary, Thanksgiving and Christmas may suck this year ...
not to mention he does these "predictions" or "god told me" stuff a lot. He aslo believed, after katrina, that a tsuanami would hit the US killing all these people who sinned. i forgot what state it was, i think it might have been san fran specificly

And if you read the article, he says that the flooding in Boston and New York counted for that prediction.
