Don't get me wrong, I want a PS3 as much as the next guy, but I sure as hell aren't paying a grand for a video game. Even if I had the money to spare, there is just so much more I could do with that money. I'm in no hurry. I can wait until the price drops.

1 million is way too much. The highest I think one could ever go for is like 10000. that's just way way way too much. Hell I wouldn't even pay 600 for one

Well ebay has a new policy for selling PS3. To sell one you have to have 50 or more feedbacks with at least a 98% feedback rating.

I would hope that rule is for the buyers. Like said, some of the PS3's that have ended up being won for up in the range of 4-8k have usually just been newbie accounts jacking the price and not paying.

Realistic succesful sales for the PS3 on eBay have been 1-3k, depending on the model and extras of course.

i'd rather go for a wii. its cheaper and its smaller and has a new edge to it with its motion activity controllers. the ps3 may look beautiful, but im tired of that same black controller...and tired of first person shooters that think they're the ****.

has anyone seen the reviews for the ps3 games? they're not great. most of them are worse ratings than the same fame on the 360. i have no intrest in the ps3. i think i made the right choice w/ the 360. plus it has gears of war and halo 3 and many other exclusive and cool games coming up. ps3 doesnt look promising at all. get a wii or 360

It seems that "im oin for the wii", however I do not feel that that adequately describes my feelings. I own a Wii and a 360 and will not get a PS3. I will not buy it because it is overpriced and has no I repeat, NO good games. Resistance looks ok, but for $600 it better be f***ing amazing. Meanwhile I bought a Wii, Zelda, an extra controller and 2000 points for under $400. So I would rather vote for, "I will not buy a PS3 because it is utter crap".

And I criticsed 360 for not having a killer app, but they at least had a solid selection of good games, i.e. CoD2, PDZ, and others. Plus, $400 is a lot less than $600 ;)

well I don't have a PS3 yet but I'm thinking about it and I've been debating whether or not I should get it but I'm still trying to weigh all the pros and cons. But I was surfing the web trying to look up some features and I came across a few short PS3 promo films. I just saw a new one and it looks cool, if you haven't seen it you should check it out

Thats exactly how I feel. I'm still getting lots of mileage of of my PS2, and there are still lots of games that I don't have for it. So, by the time I get really bored with it, I'll probably be able to get the PS3 for pretty cheap. I'm in no hurry.

I will probably wait until atleast next Christmas before even considering buying one though.

With that being said, however, at the prices of video cards and new computers, if I get to the point where I feel like I need to upgrade my PC (and at 3 years old, it's getting there), it's not going to seem logical when the PS3 is considerably less in price for about the same hardware specs.

I'll just have to see down the line. I already have a 360 and I'll probably go ahead and pick up the Wii at some point within the next two months. I may pick up a PS3 next winter, seeing how things are going.

mines fine. but launch units typically have more tech issues then future releases, but not all launch units.

no ther isnt alot of problems on mine....only 1 though.....when i play madden 07 on live sometimes it wont let u kick off......not a big deal just call timeout and it fix's itself

I'm currently debating whether I want to get one on launch day next month (March 23rd). But I think I'll save up for that nice Nokia N93i mobile phone first. :D

Yup I think the phone will come first. Until there is a decent game I'll want to play (MGS4/GTAIV) then I'll possibly purchase the console. I'm in no need for a BluRay player at this point.

FVD save your money!! It's $1200 ($700 more than the Wii and $500 more than the 360), the cable is $50 and games are $130. Wait for like...Heavenly Sword or something...oh and the price drop :)
