I never thought I'd see like 3/4ths of these heroes get put into movies.
The Avengers will be awesome.

Heres my casting for some of the movies.
Iron Man: Karl Urban or Matthew McCaugnahay
The Incredible Hulk: Hopefully Bana, if not I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say Josh Hartnett...you can hate me now
Ant-Man/Giant-man: Ryan Reynolds if there isn't a Flash movie.
Captain America: Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, or Mark Wahlberg
Nick Fury: Mehki Pheifer if they make him african-american...see "O" and you'll see the intensity and acting credibility worthy for Fury. If they go with a white guy my list is very diverse. It can be anywhere from Viggo Mortenson, Paul Bettany, Vin Diesel... even Jake Gyllenhall comes to mind.
Thor: Viggo Mortenson comes to mind too, if they really wanna throw caution in the wind...Triple-H.
Wolverine: If not Jackman- though I think that's confirmed, Josh Lucas.
that's my two cents.
So if The Incredible Hulk is gonna be distributed by Universal, would that give Eric Bana another chance to play Bruce Banner. I hope so. There was nothing wrong with his casting. Bring him back dammit. Connelly and Sam Elliott too.

Sam Jackson has already stated that he'd love to play Nick Fury. Pretty kickass considering the look of Ulitmate Nick Fury was based on Sam anyway.
Well I wouldn't mind seeing that happen myself. Seeing that we'll never see white Fury ever again.

Oh come on...Hassellhoff wasn't that bad. Man, I had such a hard time saying that with a straight face.
Gargoyle? Who the hell is Gargoyle? I knew they were making movies out of every obscure Marvel hero they could find, but I have to give them props on actually making one about a hero I've never heard of.

Captain America - Matthew MConoghey
Bruce Banner/Hulk - David Duchovny
Nick Fury - Samuel L Jackson, if non-ultimate Kurt Russell
Ant/giant Man - Josh Lucas
Thor - The guy who plays Bulvind in The 13th Warrior, he IS Thor, even got the accent going.
Wasp - Hillary Swank

Magneto? ... That's lame.

Agreed. Apart from a Wolverine movie, they don't need to make any X-Men spin off films.
I hope they smarten up about that.

The only thing I could get about a Marvel Gargoyle or Gargoyles was:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gargoyles_%28TV_series%29#Marvel
That would be great coz I loved that cartoon but it's Disney so I donno how that would work.
One thousand years ago, superstition and the sword ruled. It was a time of darkness. It was a world of fear. It was the age of gargoyles. Stone by day, warriors by night, we were betrayed by the humans we had sworn to protect, frozen in stone by a magic spell for a thousand years. Now, here in Manhattan, the spell is broken, and we live again! We are defenders of the night. We are Gargoyles!
Ps. What's with the Frizzo clone? Are you just trying to confuse us?

I just hope that Marvel isn't in such a rush to release movies of these guys that they make a bunch of crap. I understand these are popular comic heroes, but that doesn't automatically mean they will translate well to the big screen. I hope they take the time and the care to make decent films.
Alien

Well they will translate well to the big screen if they are done right. Make them good story and give them as long as they need to tell the story it should be good.

Sam Jackson i think is too old to me if they do an origin story on Fury.
Taye Diggs or Mekhi Pheifer would be good if they want to do the origin.
PS- Who for Thor?
I say Viggo Mortenson.

Triple-H is a great wrestler, but uh, acting? Not so much
all these films have potential. just as long as they're given the time and attention required. dont try and bang them all out as quick as possible
Oh come on...Hassellhoff wasn't that bad. Man, I had such a hard time saying that with a straight face.
Never saw the movie sorry. But if I can track it down I'll rent it in a heartbeat.

What are you talking about? After I saw him in Blade Trinity, I had to actually ask my friend next to me if he was an actual Vampire in real life :P

in Blade Trinity, which wasnt that good of a movie, he wasnt a huge part. I can take Triple H in small doses as the comedic relief/bad-ass vampire version of himself, but i dont want to see a 2 hour film with him as the lead.

Wouldn't a person get more attention by being themself? Any attention he gets now people will think, Frizzo.

Actually, he said he did it because he's trying to get me to change my avatar, title and sig, since I've had them for so long. He's right though..this is the longest I've gone without changing any of them. I just haven't bothered to look for something new.;)

As long as he doesn't want me to change my Avatar, I've had it since we got big Avatars and even for a long time before that as a smaller version. I won't be changing any time soon.
I agree you should change your avatar, it's cool but you can't really read it clearly, but the rest is cool.
Anyway I don't wanna go off topic too much.

Probably because Antman will be made for about $30 million but cap needs at least $100 to capture the epic scale.

I like to remain optimistic about a potential Captain America movie, but I can't see them improving on the Ult. Avengers movies. UNLESS!!!! The Red Skull is in it. Then, I'll probably like it regardless.
captain america is ready. it should be made. would love to see red skull.

CAPTAIN BRITAIN!!!!!!
Ehhh, Captain America might be a little jingoistic in today's environment. He's a good character but I see why people would be hesitant about making a movie about him, especially with overseas gross being important nowadays.

Perhaps they should give Oliver Stone the helm for this. After all from what I've read of the World Trade Center review, the movie doesn't go all patriotic. Cappie doesn't need to be fully patriotic. He oughta do what he believes is the right thing to do and that's how he needs to be portrayed in this day in age.

Ok Marvel slow it down chirst. You are going to shove out a bunch of crap if not. So on a positve note cast Samuel as Nick Fury. And please no more X-Men spin-offs Wolverine would be enough.

I dont even think they need to make a Wolverine movie. Hell, you only need to see the three X-Men films to realise that they are basically Wolverine movies anyway.
By the way I'm all for a Captain America movie, but Ant Man???? Come on...he works in comic books but seriously, can they really make a decent film out of Ant Man?

Im more optimistic about Antman than many of the other properties. Mainly becuase the choice of director Edgar Wright (Shaun of the Dead, Spaced), suggests that the movie will be a little different to anything we have seen so far. A little more comedy based without being a spoof. Thats a good thing for sure.
