Loved season 1, but I'll have trouble seeing season 2 as I no longer have Showtime. Luckily my friend has Showtime on Demand so I can watch it when I visit him.

I just finished the first season, its not too bad, I mean its not as good as other shows that have been on Showtime or HBO, but like most of them, its still better than most of the crap on regular TV..

Anyone been watching this lately? Mary-Louise Parker is one of the best actresses on TV right now. This whole series has been fantastic and what an amazing supporting cast. Kevin Nealon should really be considered for an Emmy and/or Golden Globe nomination. Not to mention Justin Kirk as Andy who is always hilarious. Every episode has so many great scenes and the dialogue is pitch perfect. Probably the best comedy (next to The Soup and The Office) on television right now.

i finally watched the first season:funny: awesome show!

two parts i loved from season 1:

when Nancy was at Heylias house and the driveby shooting happened. then when Nancy got home, the passing car muffler made the popping noise and she dropped to the ground thinking it was another driveby. lol

and when Isabelle was telling her dad she went poo in her pants at school bc Celia put laxatives in her food, and she had to throw her underpants into the woods.

This is one of the best shows on the aire today. I don't have Showtime so I watched the first 3 seasons on DVD. All I can say is that thank god for torrent. I can usually grab the episode as soon as 2 hours after it airs on Showtime.

There is something uniquely charming about this show. I like it and I watch it, however, it's hard to find the characters believable and it's hard to imagine people not caring as much they do not. But I still watch.

okay, i just got the dvds for christmas. in one day i managed to get through all of first season and half of season 2. i'm going to be really upset that i don't have season 3, because i have a feeling they'll end it with a cliffhanger. oh well. anyway, just wanted to stop by, once again say that i think the show is brilliant, and if you can catch Hunter Parrish (Silas Botwin) in Spring Awakening on Broadway before it closes, you won't be sorry. ;)

lol, that was my favorite line too. Andy is probably my favorite character. LOVE this show. For those of you who say "If I had Showtime...." C'mon now. It's a new age. Showtime needs to learn to broadcast their shows online in some format or another (Hulu, etc.), or else people will just keep on stealing them.

I unfortunately has had to wait for every single DVD to come out because even when I did have cable, I never had Showtime. Damn. Gonna try to get Season Four on DVD this weekend. So wait, does that mean that the season on air now is season 5? If so, damn.
