Seriously folks, I'm not much of a forum man, but when I saw the X3 review by Edward Douglas, I could not help but speak out.
Comingsoon.net has been my number one source for movie reviews for several years now. I never put much weight on reviews, wanting to make my own conclusions, but the reviews on Comingsoon.net always ran closely parallel with my own. And I began to trust them, giving them more influence than usual. Until Edward Douglas.
Its true, I'm a sucker for movies, and there are few that I dont enjoy at least on an entertainment level, but this guy gives nothing but low reviews for movies like X3. This is the same guy that gave King Kong a 6.5. I'll bet he thought that was generous, too. Come on guy, I know it might not be as great as X2, but 5.5?? Thats a score you give a very mediocre, bordering on bad movie. I sincerely doubt X3 is that. I mean, you gave Scary Movie four a 6.5, but you give one of the most highly anticipated movies of the year a 5.5?
Scott Chitwood and Joshua Starnes, put him in his place. Or at lease do simultanious reviews anytime he reviews something.
