I bloody am.
Is it rumored to be next july when the last HP book comes out? If so, why so long? Do you think it's a case of the writer and Warner Bros milking us like Jersey Cows?

I don't want it for a while actually, I agree with Sparkle, let the 7th book come out after the 6th movie. :P
yeah, i am not in a rush to get the book. i know that in the long gap between 4 and 5 i was pulling my hair out waiting for the damn book, but now, i am cool with a long wait. JK has alot of work to do, alot of lose ends to tie up, alot of complicated plots that she has to put to bed, so i dont mind giving her a few years to get everything right. i think it is important to get everything right in this instance.

hehe...it might not even come out next year cause of the movie...nowhere in hell are they releasing the book and movie at the same time...well at least i dont think so anway
No worries here. I'd rather have to wait a long time, then have them rush the movie and have it suck. Same goes for the book. Just be patient, it'll be worth the wait when it comes out. :D

I completely agree. i would rather wait and have the last book knock my socks off, than have it now and have it suck becuase it was rushed. Take your time J.K.R. and really make it good.

the book isn't finished yet. it wont be for a little bit. so hold your horsies everyone. soon enough some spoilerish pics for OOtP will be leaked, or a chapter from the book will be unveiled illegially, and you shall have you impatient fill of HP Mania.

If you ask me in a way it is too soon. The movies are only on 5 currently. They should wait until the 5th movie runs its corse before releasing the finally book. It should be during a non movie year.
I don't mind the wait. Why the rush. Let JKR finish the book to perfection and not rush it out like some movies that could have been great.

Personally, I'm happy to wait for a while. We've had a book and a film in the last year so I'm content for now.
Next July would be earlier than I would have expected. I guess it's just finished when she's finished writing it.

I want the whole damn series so I can read it from page one of book one to the last page of book seven - I wanna read the word scar... shudder with the pleasurable sensation of a great series.-. I want to analyze the whole thing.. and then I wanna start over... or read the books like I am reading them now.. starting with 6 and going backwards..

I'm torn... I want the book of course and I can't WAIT to read it... but I don't want it to be over. How sad is it gonna be when there's no more books waiting to come out?

I dont want it to end either. =( Its going to be so sad when it all ends.
But then again, Lord of the Ring was written years ago, and its still popular. The movies will make it last longer.
But if she does end it in a way (like harry dieing) do you think people will still go see the movies? Im a grownup, and I have to say, Im in love with HP, and I dont think I would go see the last movie if he dies.

Personally I'll be so pissed if he dies. He's been thru so much crap, that to just kill him after living through it all, living through all that pain both physically and emotionally just to be offed at the end. It would ruin the series for me I think. Oddly enough I don't feel like this for all books or movies or what not that have a character go through such hard times, but for this series I just do. Harry Must Live.

If Harry dies, i can live with it only if in the book it says how the entire world knows who he is what he has done for, so that he may be remembered properly getting the respect he deserves, and if he must kill Voldemort in the process.
