There has to be some...
One for me was, Gargoyles.Very well done show, the best thing Disney ever animated.
ALSO, SPIDER-MAN, the Animated Series.
Best animated action show ever.Unlimited is
just ****.This made me a Spidey fan.Which of course I wouldn't have found SMH! and eventually CS!

The one show I really got into and just loved was Space: Above And Beyond. I know it had a pretty big following, but the ratings weren't there. Damn ratings anyway...

You probably only saw the first few episodes. The first few times I watched it weren't that interesting, but I kept watching it, and the story started to turn well and deep. I think each charactor is specially designed in the story, and they have surprise endings. If you did see all of them, then it's just your opinion.

Here's my phat list of shows I DID NOT want to see cancelled:
Avengers (They could've made that show a lot better without Saban at the helm.)
Iron Man (Again, they needed better people to produce that show.
Airwolf
Knight Rider
Street Hawk (I can't believe I remember that show!)
Melrose Place (Heather Locklear would've been cooler if she reprised her role as Amanda Woodard on the Avengers animated series, and supervised the Avengers to boot!)
Models Inc. (one of my guilty pleasures, especially when Cassidy Rae, aka Sarah Owens, was on that show.) -Methinks Aaron Spelling should've joined forces with Marvel Films to turn that show into an animated series about super-powered models.
American Gladiators- the original, and still the best. (better than Battle Dome!) :D

Let me explain, bbf2. Remember the last episode of Fox's Melrose Place where Amanda Woodard (Heather Locklear) had to shut down her advertising firm, Amanda Woodard Advertising, and she went into a drunken stupor like Tony Stark did in the Iron Man comics? Well, if you do, than I've got a cool scenario for ya.
Say it is five years later, Amanda is resting up and living with her husband, Peter Burns (Jack Wagner) in Hawaii. Suddenly, a large SHIELD Helicarrier appears out of nowhere over the island, and teleporting down to the beach is Colonel Nick Fury. Now Colonel Fury recognizes Amanda from when she was a little girl hanging around with the Avengers at the mansion while her father, Palmer Woodard, was working for the spy agency as a rookie agent before he retired.
He presents an offer to Amanda that for some unknown reason would change her life: "Amanda, How would you like to help me reform the greatest superteam in the Marvel Universe, The Avengers?" Fury said. Amanda says: "Really? What's in it for me?" Fury responds: "Why young lady, you get to pick the best of the best superheroes in the Marvel Universe, and you get to run the team with no interference from the Government! Do you accept, Ms. Woodard?"
After much thought, Amanda finds out that she'll be able to pick the team members that she wants on her team, and hastily accepts the offer from Fury, and thus, begins the search for the ultimate Avengers team.
Fast forward one week later, and "Mandy" has
assembled her own Avengers lineup which consists of:
Captain America (leader)
Iron Man (technological support)
Thor(brute strength and magic)
Hawkeye (marksmanship, also she finds out that the archer is really her twin brother, who is using another name.)
She-Hulk (brute strength, also Amanda Woodard's lawyer, Jennifer Walters.)
Vision
Scarlet Witch (Magic)
and the reserves:
Falcon
Wonder Man
Ant-Man (science expert)
Wasp (Ant-Man's wife)
There you have it, The Earth's Mightiest Heroes living in a new version of Melrose Place while banding together to battle the most powerful villains in the Marvel Universe in a little animated series that I would call: Avengers: Melrose Place

I agree with The Insider, X-files should have ended a few years ago the alien stories are getting really lame.
One of the shows I miss is The Others. It was just starting to get interesting and they killed everyone off!! I also miss Millennium but only the series Glen Morgan and James Wong did, when most of the stories involved good versus evil. The Darin Morgan stories were the best!

I would have loved to see Brimstone to carry on. It was a great success on one of our satalite channels (Sky 1, nearly everyone in the UK has Digital Satalite). It finished 2 years ago and I couldn't believe it got canceled over in the USA because it weren't getin the rateings, it was deffinately gettin the ratings over here.
Other shows that I would have loved to see carry on are:
Batman TAS - if only they carried it on in this animation style rather then moving onto more of a childish, too cartoony style.
Ultraviolet - a great 6 part mini-series about vampires here in the UK
Seinfeld - By far the best American Sitcom
Father Ted - Great comedy about irish priests living on a small island. Well it really did't get cancelled, the main actor sadly passed away.
Red Dwarf - Can't wait for the film.
Young Ones or Bottom - If you've seen them, you'll know why.

You haven't seen Season 8 have you? Not the best. (I think Season 5 was the best) But Within and Without were very well done. And then the last four of the season were just like the good ol'days. And the way they ended the season finale was a better series finale. This better be the last damn season.
>>>>THE LONEGUN MEN is one show I didn't want cancelled. Of the shows I saw (three on Sundays and three on Fridays) they were well done. The only reason it was cancelled, 'cause the rich greedy bastard morons put the show on Fridays. It was number 15 on Sundays in the The X-Files' timeslot. I hope somehow Chris Carter can resolve the season finale in Season 9 of the XF.

I've just seen part one, part two is on Thursday the 28th so I'm getting myself ready for it! They keep showing the shorts for it and saying one will not live to see Scully's baby, gee I wonder who that is? I guess since he got the part in Anne Rice's new TV show Fallen Angels he doesn't have time for X-files. Besides I think they were running out of ideas for his character. I really miss Vengeance Unlimited! Anyone else heard of it? Michael Mardsen played a man who lost his wife and daughter to some kind of crime (the show never did elaborate on the past of his character, Mr. Chapel).
If you are being harassed, threatened, etc, Chapel would show up out of nowhere and make you an offer - he will help you if you either:
A. pay him 1 million dollars
B. owe him a favor
The "favor" is usually paid back in the form of help on a case. Chapel did not kill, but he would sometimes give his "clients" the opportunity (in one episode, he let a group of villagers throw a group of soldiers that tortured them long ago out of a plane! Chapel asked "what did you do with them?" One of the villagers replied "We returned them to our country for trial...from 15,000 feet!"). Man, that show was COOL!! Stupid ABC cancelled it after one season!

You are so right welty John Doe was a great show, personally I can not understand how a simular show like The Pretender had enough staying power for 3 seasons while John Doe is lost after only one season. Over the last several years FOX has created several good shows only to nix them after one season (if their lucky to make it that far. Some of the losers (or close) are:
John Doe
Firefly
American Embassy
Fastlane- I heard this one was on the bubble
Keen Eddie- Just go moved to Thursday going against the Must See line up.
Hello! Hey you old farts at FOX it is possible to gain viewers with out using a good show as filler before 24 or American Idol.

I think Fox was retarded to drop Futurama. What a great show.
As for John Doe, it was too full of holes. You had this guy who was supposed to know everything but his name and identity, yet he was always coming across something he didn't know. I liked the idea, but the show was hokie.

My So-Called Life-- Great show, great acting, (I even liked the theme music) but nobody watched it.
Bakersfield P.D-- Hilarious, and WITHOUT a laugh-track! Critics loved it, I enjoyed, but again, nobody watched it.
MacGyver-- I used to love this show, but I guess it was heading downhill. I wish they kept it, but made it more liked the first season again (jeep, duct-tape, plenty of macgyverisms, foreign countries, no moral lessons, and no bleached "Queer Eye for The Straight Guy" blond mullet.)
Seinfeld-- Greatest sitcom ever. I know it wasn't technically cancelled, but they could have kept going. It was one of the few shows that remained funny til the end.
Crime & Punishment-- Was this actually cancelled, or is it just on hiatus. If it was cancelled, that's a shame, so add it to my list.

Titus, Family Guy, and Andy Richter Controls the Universe. ARCtU was the greatest show ever. The episode with Conan O'Brien kicked ass. Andy walked in his office and Conan stuck his hand in a cotton candy machine so it was wrapped in Cotton Candy and sticks out his hand. Andy says "No thanks I'm fine." Conan: "I wasn't offering you any, I was introducing you." Greatest show ever. It got cancelled twice. Damn fox!

Norm - Norm MacDonalds hilarious show with Nikki Cox and Roseanne's Sister....great show, why it was cancelled is beyond me.
Thieves - John Stamos as a thief for the government after being caught along with some hot blonde chick. The humor of this short lived show was really nice and seeing them steal stuff every episode was entertaining...stupid ABC (or was it CBS...NBC?)

I can't think of the name, but it was a show on fox about two undercover detectives who worked in the "candy store" with the chick from saved by the bell. It had cool edits and crazy slo-mo action.

Oh yeah that was Fastlane, I really was sad when they dropped this show. The Producer McG said the cost per show was something like 2.6 million.

i would have to say the most brialliant show to have ever been canceled was the adventures of brisco county jr, it aired on fox in 93-94 for one season and stared bruce campbell as a harvard educated bounty hunter in the late 1800`s chaseing after a man who killed his father but it takes a twist when they introoduce the orb its an object from the future and it gets cool from there its kinda wild wild west meets james bond, very cool show only lasted one season, another show that was taken from me was titus, god that was a funny show.i really dont wanna see smallville taken away anytime soon, also i miss beavis and butt-head

Great show cancelled twice, difficult to find reruns because all episodes have individual movie rights attached to them, if anyone wants to buy high quality tapes or dvds of these they should email this one guy i know who makes the best quality copies of them all.:applaud:
