Mine's coming in the mail in a few days.
I'd just like to know what editing differences there is between Fahrenheit and Indigo Prophecy. I've heard that there were things cut out in the American version, but I can't find out what they are.

I'm going to pick Indigo Prophecy up tomorrow. The demo was great, and I can't wait to play it.

That's silly. I may have to pick up Fahrenheit sometime.
I just received my Indigo Prophecy copy today though. Will probably play it later on.

they censored the US version? it's usually the other way around i.e. Ninja Gaiden.

I guess because of all the controversy around M and AO games right now. I'm guessing the ESRB was taking the heat and were going to put AO on the game, so they trimmed it to an M rating.
Seems kind of ironic though, because isn't the Fahrenheit release rated 15 or 16+?

Welp, that didn't take very long to beat. I was kind of disappointed by the length and it's ending. So much mystery and intrigue, just to find out that it was just some apocolypse mumbo jumbo.
Either way though, it was still a pretty interesting and innovated experience. I would like to see them work on future games working with the same gameplay element ideas, but just a bit more expanded. It was 'Choose Your Own Adventure'-ish... but not really enough.

I agree that the length and it's ending(s) were a let down, the storyline got very epic at the end and I wish the developers had run with it for a couple more chapters, just to flesh the pacing out. An entire month passes between when Lucas and Tiffany die in the Amusement Park, to the finding of the Indigo Child, they could have used that time to let the answers come slowly rather than revealing everything quickly in the last chapter.

Only took me one try. I don't know what issue you're having. Just have to do the combo buttons and the quick tapping. Needless to say though, that part was way too long. It got old after awhile.

Sadly I felt the same way. But more so because I didn't even realise that much time had passed until I looked back at the dates on the chapters after the game was finished.

I was making note of the dates from the beginning, so it was all good, but I can see how Lucas' appearance and Carla and Lucas getting it on in the subway would be strange if you weren't. Though Carla screwing a dead guy is always going to be strange... ;)
Lucas' appearance changing throughout the game was one thing I really liked actually, he goes from average to guy to.. Hm, I can't think of the right word. More what you would expect a main character to look like in a video game? More badass? I don't know. He was really the only character I got attached to, so seeing him mature into more of a Hero over the course of the story was great. But again, more depth would have been nice, rather than Lucas just suddenly looking different.
As for those Simon-like parts, I didn't have too much trouble with them, I mean I screwed up the first one or two but I found that the more you do them the easier they get.

No, they couldnt add nothing.
Because, as usually, stupid fuc/in, ***** ass producers needed their money NOW and were afraid that if the game were postponed another 6 months the sales would be too low.
So Quantic Dreams didnt have time to finish another 4 hours of gameplay which happens between lunapark and finding lucas in a hotel room. They didnt say anything but Ive got a hunch they will release it in some kind of directors cut later on.
And dont even get me started on cutting things out in the U.S. version. No, they didnt cut out anything anything violent, only sex scenes, which were very neat, by the way.

I have Fahrenheit, not Indigo Prophecy, so I've seen the sex scenes. They're alright, nothing you wouldn't see in an R-rated movie, but I agree.. Some boobs and alittle bush aren't going to kill you, but hey I don't live in America, so whatever.

Neither do I but that kind of attitude always gets me really pissed off.
