I thought Seed was better than Bride by a long shot. Bride went for all the easy jokes, I'd never seen it but I guessed every punchline before it happened. The only parts I really liked was some of the direction, Jennifer Tilly, and the part where the guy gets nailed by the semi. Seed of Chucky was much funnier in my opinion, not to mention smarter.

I still don't know why people think Bride is so awesome. I think it's the second-worst of the series, behind Child's Play 3.

I liked Seed more than Bride too. Not as a diehard lover of it, but I enjoyed the jokes, the kills, the dialogue, and the puppet interaction. It's hilarious all around.

I just rented that horrible **** last night. I was a huge fan of the horror series but now that it's become a comedy it's some of the most pathetic **** I've ever seen. I didn't watch this movie taking it seriously, I knew it would be a comedy, but still the production that was put into this made my eyes bleed. I remember when they used to actually make Chucky walk on the ground giving it a completely believable look. now they move his body behind a blue screen and add it later showing no sign of weight. call me old-fashioned, but I kinda dig it when you take the unbelievable and put it into an interactive atmosphere.

and Glen, OMG. Billy Boyd will never receive decent work again. where did they come up with this fag character? pissing his pants, the same cartoony shocked look on his face, taking three steps when escaping yet somehow running 35 mph, speaking Japanese and knowing kung fu (WTF???)... it was all so gay I couldn't bear it. Bride was bad, and I knew it would be. Seed was terrible, but I didn't know it would be this terrible. and to think that at some point ROUGE gave this project the green light and said "sure, go spend millions and millions to make this unsolid sack of ****"

Bring back the Chuck to the good ol' days where his smart ass remarks preceded or were follow ups after a good murder. I like the stitched up look, but it doesn't do it any good if he's a clown and not a killer.
