What is up with Napster? What is the deal? I thout $15 let you have unlimited song downloads, but the website says you gotta pay 99 cents!!!

You pay 15 bucks a month. for unlimited song downloads. 99 cents for a single song. Simple enough.

For $15 a month you can DL as many songs as you want, but you can only keep them as long as you are paying the $15 a month. Also it will only work with 3 specific MP3 players (not sure wich ones). Once you cancel you membership with napster you will no longer be able to play the songs you DLed, until you sign up with them again. I'm not sure if you are allowed to burn them to CDs or not.

The other option is to pay $0.99 per song and you will "own" the song. It should work with any MP3 player and you will always be allowed to play the song. not sure about burning CDs.

I know I am at the wrong job when I can't even take advantage of my work T1 to download MP3's and torrents and at the same time my brother in lay works at a bank and their IT guru set up a dedicated drive on their server just for a 900 plus album Itunes library. If you figure 12 songs per album that close to 11, 000 songs. Bastards.
