Copying vhs using standard vcrs

Does anyone know how i can make copies of a show? I think that it was called cross-recording.Using two vcrs how do I make copies from something that i recorded prior?

ummm... just connect them together and hit play on one and record on another.

yeah there's some jacks in the back all you need are the cables to connect the out ones on the machine playing the tape - to the in ones on the machine recording the tape

Yeah vcr #1 is the master (your prior recording goes here) and the output from this vcr goes to the input connections of vcr #2 which is the slave (your new tape goes here). Then if you want to watch it as it records you can send the output of vcr 2 to the TV (but you really don't need a TV at all to do this.
