Shes got all sores n cuts on her mouth

What?

I have long suspected that Tom Cruise is gay. All of his relationships have been cover-ups. This further confirms it. She has said that he just called her out of the blue and asked to meet her, and a couple weeks later they were vacationing together or whatever. This means he picked her name out of a hat 'cuz he realized it was time to either get a new ornamental girlfriend or come out of the closet.

If I was an available woman (I'm not) and an actress who is just hitting the high point of her career, I'd be scared to death that Tom Cruise was about to hit on me.
Plus, there is also the publicity factor to consider. Cruise (War of the Worlds) and Holmes (Batman Begins) are in two of the summer's most eagerly anticipated movies. Curous timing that Cruise would suddenly call her up and ask her out, right before Cannes and all.

Have you noticed how since being married to the older Mimi Rogers, Cruise is hooking up with progressively younger women? Nicole Kidman, Penelope Cruz, Katie Holmes?
So, now Lindsey Lohan is supposed to be co-starring with Cruise in Mission Impossible 3, although I understand there is no truth to the rumor that Cruise was dating his co-star in War of the Worlds, Dakota Fannin.

roxx
05-18-2005, 08:51 PM
he didn't just call her out of the blue. Katie Holmes has a had a life long crush on Cruise. They met at a business meeting, they both liked each other and Cruise asked her out.

Barbara Walters said that there is no way its for publicity because at the legend's ball, they were sitting quietly in a corner and kissing and huddling.

of course she is an insider, something none of us are.

Wow. i just dont get it. Tom Cruise falls in love. Expresses his opinion. Now hes crazy?

It's the way he's doing it, did you see the Today show interview yesterday with Matt Lauer? He wouldn't even let the other opinions about Ridulin and psychology to come to the surface. He bashed them before Matt could finish talking. Then he talked to Matt like he was a little kid. Even though Matt said he knew people who benefitted from those forms of healing, Tom wouldn't have it because he thinks his way is the only real, healthy way to live. He wouldn't even accept that results happen because he thinks those results were had by the wrong routes of healing.

He's not crazy yet, just fanatical. And even though War of the Worlds is a summer blockbuster, I wouldn't be surprised if he just killed a lot of box office potential with that interview.

A lot of actors think that since they are in the public eye that they should use it as a soap box for their personal agendas. Unless they really go off the deep end and do something scandalous (Hugh Grant) , I really don't pay attention and just go see their movies if they do a good job.

Shields Rips Cruise's 'Ridiculous Rant'
Friday July 1 2:47 PM ET

Brooke Shields took aim at Tom Cruise's "Today" show diatribe against antidepressants, saying the drugs helped her survive feelings of hopelessness after the birth of her first child. In an op-ed piece published Friday in The New York Times, Shields criticized what she called Cruise's "ridiculous rant."

Cruise had criticized the actress for taking the drugs, and became particularly passionate about the issue in an interview on "Today" last week.

"You don't know the history of psychiatry. I do," Cruise told Matt Lauer.

He went on to say there was no such thing as chemical imbalances that need to be corrected with drugs, and that depression could be treated with exercise and vitamins.

"I'm going to take a wild guess and say that Mr. Cruise has never suffered from postpartum depression," Shields wrote.

She added that Cruise's comments "are a disservice to mothers everywhere. To suggest that I was wrong to take drugs to deal with my depression, and that instead I should have taken vitamins and exercised shows an utter lack of understanding about postpartum depression and childbirth in general."

Shields said she considered swallowing a bottle of pills or jumping out the window at the lowest point of her depression following the birth of her daughter, Rowan Francis, in 2003. A doctor later attributed her feelings to a plunge in her estrogen and progesterone levels and prescribed the antidepressant Paxil.

"If any good can come of Mr. Cruise's ridiculous rant, let's hope that it gives much-needed attention to a serious disease," she wrote.

Shields described her post-childbirth experiences in the book "Down Came the Rain: My Journey Through Postpartum Depression."

Cruise is a follower of Scientology, a religion that teaches that psychiatry is a destructive pseudo-science.

In an interview with AP Radio Wednesday night, Kelly Preston, who is also a Scientologist, defended the actor's "Today" show comments about Shields. "If you're going to be advocating drugs, which she does in her book, you need to be responsible for also telling the people of the potential risks."

Preston also said Cruise's heated debate with Lauer was "very helpful because it's just raised awareness. People are talking about it now, and that's what they should be."

"Whatever your political, social or religious background, this is an issue that affects all of us," she said. "It is not just a Scientology issue."

I too have a hard time seeing this relationship being anything more than publicity. It is just odd how they have come out of nowhere and started dating and then bam a couple of weeks later they are engaged. Most celibrity couples deny being together for awhile but they did not. Especially, with Tom Cruise usually being low key about his personal life but now it seems he is flaunting it. It is all a little weird IMO.

Katie Holmes Poses in Wedding Dress
Friday July 8 1:02 PM ET

The future Mrs. Tom Cruise has already tried on at least one wedding gown. Katie Holmes appears in the August issue of W magazine posing in a Commes des Garcons wedding dress and continuing to gush about her fiance. The couple, who went public with their relationship in April, haven't announced a date for their marriage.

"Tom and I will always be in our honeymoon phase," Holmes says in W, on newsstands July 22. In the interview, a theme emerges with many similar comments, including "Tom is the most incredible man in the world."

Cruise, 42, and Holmes, 26, became engaged last month after the "War of the Worlds" star proposed at the Eiffel Tower in Paris. Holmes, who co-stars in "Batman Begins," has said she's taking lessons in Cruise's faith of Scientology.

"I'm learning to celebrate my own spirit, my own being," she says.

During the W interview, the actress wouldn't part from Jessica Rodriguez, who is described as her "Scientologist chaperone." Rodriguez's role in Holmes' life remains vague, though Rodriguez says they're "just best friends" since meeting around the time Holmes met Cruise.

"You adore him," Rodriguez told Holmes when the actress was at a loss for words to describe her love.
Not to forget their day jobs, Holmes says she wants to make a movie with Cruise.

"That would be such an honor," she says. "Such an honor."

I find it funny that Tom Cruise calls pshchology a psudo-science, yet follows a pseudo religion fonded by a failed Sci-Fi authour.

I mean seriously The Same guy who wrote Battlefield Earth wrote Dianetics (the book that first expressed they views of Scientology).
