I would say that Star Wars: Episode III is the only one that will get a 10/10 from me this year. However, if Batman Begins turns out well, then you never know. I am a huge Batman fan as well.

Probably:

- Episode III
- Sin City

That's probably it. I don't like giving out 10s unless it is damn near perfect. And I can even see Episode III being a 9, same with Sin City. I guess I'll know in a few days.

If you expect ROTS to get 10/10 you will be very dissapointed, you might as well expect it to be medicre then youll be pleasantly surprised.

He probably expects it to be a perfect 10/10 for the same reason i do(maybe I'm wrong). I think it will eb a perfect 10/10 for me because it would be incredible to see the birth/rise of darth vader and how and everything falls into place. It is the last episode in my favortie trilogy(Sub trilogy) of all time. I think I will enjoy it. But I respect your opinion and understand why it will be a mediocre film to you.

I dont think you quite got what i said there, i really like AOTC and i think the new film will be good. But walking into a film expecting 10/10 only leads to dissapointment, i mean, what if it isnt as good as you imagine? There are very few films that ever live up to my expectations, so i just try not to have any before watching a film now. Just like Batman, i think it will be fantastic but ill walk into the cinema expecting nothing, that way ill always come out happy.

Exactly 10/10 is PERFECT, when is the last time you saw a perfect movie?

i find setting these sort of expectations really can ruin a movie if taken too seriouslly

i dont think i gave any movie a 10/10 last year, and maybe 4 got over a 9. but im quazi harsh.. many films land in the 6-8 land... very few make me hate them or love them with a passion.

Only one movie I'd think could get my 10/10 rating...Cinderella Man.

Most the other big blockbusters could possibly get a 9/10.

Film(s) With The Best Chance To Get 10/10(or ***** Out Of *****) From Me:

Star Wars: Episode III - Revenge Of The Sith

Films That Will Likely Score In the 7/10 - 9/10 Range:

Batman Begins
Fantastic Four
War Of The Worlds
Fantastic Four
Harry Potter and the Goblet Of Fire

Films I'm On The Fence About:

The Legend Of Zorro(no trailer)
King Kong(no trailer)
The Fountain(no trailer)
Crash(it looks pretty good but it looks pretentious as well.)
The Island(the trailer makes it look like I, Robot lite, which was Minority Report lite to begin with.)

Films I'd Be Very Surprised To See Place In My Top Ten(unless this year is weaker than 2004, god forbid.):

Kingdom Of Heaven(I'm not even sure if I'm seeing it.)
Sin City(I saw it today and wasn't impressed. I give it *** Out Of *****.)
Constantine(same as Sin City. *** Out Of *****).

It isnt my intention to wind people up or offend you.
I had this argument with my friend the other day he said it will be a 10/10 film and i said i hoped it would be, but i wasnt holding out much hope. It just reminded me of when we both went to see Terminator 3, i went in expecting it to suck and really enjoyed it, he went in expected something on parr with T2 and came out dissapointed.

and by the way Spidey 2 got 9/10 IMO, very few movies are ever perfect.

The Island looks good, but seeing as that guy directed Bad-Boys 2 and Pearl Harbour, i think a 10/10 might be pushing it.

Maybe im old and cynical.
