Is the Monon Trail located in Indy, or near? Beautiful photos, by the way.
It runs from 10th st., just north of downtown Indy, to 146th st. in Carmel. I think they have plans to extend it even further. It runs through the heart of the city. Some parts of the city that it runs through are scenic, and others not so much. It used to be a rail line, as I'm sure you could tell by the name. I wish we had more trails like it. It gets pretty busy sometimes.
And thanks. I'm not bad as a photographer, I guess. :)
I'm beginning to not feel sorry for you.

Thanks man. It is pretty peaceful. That is if you can avoid getting splattered by the guys on racing bikes that think they're Lance at the Tour de France. It's actually very peaceful to just sit on one of the benches and watch people go by. I'm a great people watcher. ;)
As far as being gorgeous, it mostly is, but it does go through some blighted areas and past some factories that aren't too attractive. But it's good for people to know that there are parts of town that are like that.

I have a friend almost the exact same age as you, and almost all his hair is white. I think Steve Martin was the same way.
I'd rather have a distinguished full head of white hair than go bald, though, which I'm sure I probably will eventually.

Just to be sure, you know I'm 26 and not 36, right?
Also, my dad is bald, my grandpa was bald, my mom's dad was bald and...my mom is pretty bald. Trust me, I'd be happy with white hair over no hair. Instead, in addition to early balding, I'm going to have grey hair even EARLIER to hold me off until then.

And 'yes', to your first inquiry. I don't have a whole lot of 36 year old friends, not that I'm ageist or anything.

Actually, I think I'm lucky in that I have my Grandfather's hair. My dad started going grey pretty early, even though it took a long time for it to get really grey, and his hairline creeping farther and farther up his forehead. My Grandfather, however, had thick, curly hair up until the day he died, and it was pretty much a really dark, almost jet black color his entire life.

Update on my puppy. Oh, and his name has officially changed since the last time I posted pictures of him. It used to be Kalohe which means Rascal, but my girlfriend has been calling him Scruffy so damn much that he now responds to the name. So it's officially Scruffy, now.

It's kinda funny how dogs will respond to a name change like that. My housemates and I started calling the neighbor's dogs "Cloverfield Softbutt Peefur" (it walks like the cloverfield creature, its hair is mangy except for a soft patch on its butt and its fur is disgusting) and "Barky McF**kface" (self explanatory) and they respond to it...... probably because the neighbor neglects the dogs and we are forced to take care of them, but whatevs.
Anyhoo..... cute puppy!

That's not a bad little result, I don't think. Keep in mind that my nose and jaw were both broke in that picture, so everything's kind of crooked. I'm not usually that ugly, I swear. I went to London with the mrs a few weeks ago and paid a visit to the national institute for medical research in Mill Hill, which doubled for Arkham Asylum in Batman Begins.
This is me standing beside it:
http://img95.imageshack.us/img95/3626/meatarkhamsg6.jpg
I also, randomly, when searching for places to go online, read up about a guy called Jeremy Bentham who Lost fans may recognise as the name given to Locke when he's off-island. He was a renowned philisopher and quite the character it turns out. On a visit-london website it said that as requested in his will, his body was preserved and stored in a wooden cabinet, termed his "Auto-icon". Originally kept by his disciple Dr. Southwood Smith, it was acquired by University College London in 1850. The Auto-icon is kept on public display at the end of the South Cloisters in the main building of the College. For the 100th and 150th anniversaries of the college, the Auto-icon was brought to the meeting of the College Council, where he was listed as "present but not voting". Tradition holds that if the council's vote on any motion is tied, the auto-icon always breaks the tie by voting in favour of the motion.
The Auto-icon has always had a wax head, as Bentham's head was badly damaged in the preservation process. The real head was displayed in the same case for many years, but became the target of repeated student pranks including being stolen on more than one occasion. It is now locked away securely.
I figured i'd visit the college to see it for myself:
