Yeah with the play wrapped I have dove straight back into my day job for money, though today no one is here, so I'm bored. Hence my all posting. Tonight though I'm supposed to go out with some friends.

And feel better.

Ha ha cool. I have to check it out because, oh my god, am I sick of corporate video stores.

First night was great, second night not so much, heh. But it was overall a good learning experience. The writer came the first night and really seemed to enjoy it, so that's something. Might have the oppurtunity to re-case it at the end of June but I have to check with everyone schedules first. Might be too quick a turn around....

Mines fairly flexible, but I pretty much didn't work the entire month of May so now I making up for lost wages. :p

And you're welcome.

went to this village of old abandoned houses downtown. the house we were in, there was a boy who died from some kind of illness. one of the people who were with us asked if jim was here, his name was jim and seconds later an open closet door shut. no one was anywhere near it, it was awesome

Perhaps some people will remember that I went to New York City 2 weeks ago for about 4 days. My pictures are here!

First, we have my "trip" across the Brooklyn bridge along with my sister and cousin. I call it a trip because there was a horrible heat wave that weekend.

That's my sister on the left and cousin on the right:

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533903.jpg

These pictures are from a disposable camera. Knowing this, I knew there were some things I would just never be able to do with it. One of those things was to take a picture of the Statue of Liberty from so far away on the bridge, so instead, I took a picture of my sister taking a picture of the Statue of Liberty:

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533908.jpg

I was trying to do something fancy with this next shot, and I guess it sort of worked. It's taken from the roof of the MET where there was an exhibit of some weird huge "balloon" animals. I didn't find them particulary interesting. However, the view from atop the MET was really nice, and it occured to me that I could get a 360 degree shot of the view by taking a picture of the reflection of the stuff behind me and the buildings in front of me for the background. Not only that, but I got a picture of myself in the reflection. (You can also see more stupid balloon animal art in the reflection)

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533915.jpg

The next day, I went to a play and happened to bump into this young lady and hung out with her and some of her friends for drinks. Her name is Melissa (aka Knerys).

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533898.jpg

My adventures with Melissa were far and many, starting with the giant panda attack the next day. Had I helped Melissa and not wasted time by taking this picture, her shoes may not have been eaten.

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533896.jpg

Not only did we escape, but we eventually befriended this misunderstood beast.

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533913.jpg

The next day, we continued our adventures across the city. Pictured here is Melissa on the top floor of the Empire State Building.

http://pic4.picturetrail.com/VOL715/2562261/19940742/322533921.jpg

Do you remember when we sodomized him afterwards?

You asked him nicely and he told you both to shut up and quietly you both sat back down, thats what happened wasn't it. Its ok......:P

lmao @ Ramplate's picture.

So yeah, I had some sleep last night. I tried putting him in his little doggy cage but he kept crying. So in the end, I asked my friend to buy me one of those doggy fences from Wal-Mart and a pack of those doggy urine pads. I blocked my room off and put the pads down everywhere. I found that he likes the open area to run around it. So I played with him until he got tired and went to sleep. I quickly followed.

On a site note, turns out my mother played a really mean trick on me... Apparently the puppy was mine all along, she got it for me as a gift. So yeah, I guess I have a dog now. So now I've got to name him.

I want to live in Hawaii. But I hear they don't like non-natives so much, is that true?

It's a mixed bag. Down here, people are more respectful of the different nationalities than they are up in the States. But yes, there are still ignorant people just as there are in the States. It's a skin color thing, but more of a where you're from thing. And that rumor about people from Hawaii hating Gays is the biggest joke ever. I find it stupid myself. There are just as much gays here as there are in San Fran. We all get along down here regardless of what we are. But yeah, some of us are still ignorant that way with the hatin'.

Tolkien

Nah, they would just give you crap for using the "word" honkey. ;)

But seriously though, there are a lot of whites here who get along with the rest of the nationalities and visa versa.

It's more about being from Hawaii and not being from Hawaii that counts.

I'll give you a quick example: All of my fathers family hates him and the rest of us because we moved to Seattle for ten years. They disowned him and everything. His own mother, his own father and even his two brothers and his sister. The same goes with my mother's side of the family. We're all outsiders to them because we left Hawaii and made our own lives for ourselves out of State. They even attack me for speaking with perfect grammer and not with pigeon english like them.

But no, in answer to your question, I'm not leaning on the tree.

Yeah, I had to wipe my eyes, it looked like it. That is a good picture for someone to Paint or Photoshop like Superman or Batman stuff on you. That would be sick as hell. Where is Carnage Escobar when you need him. Overall, I like the epic stance.

Honest truth. A friend of mine has a brother that got chucked 60 or so feet in the air cause the tree wasn't fully uprooted. He broke his leg and other bones. The tree was knocked down in the middle of the road, he got out with a chainsaw cause his truck couldn't pass and once he got the top of it off, it flung back and him in the air.

Another story I heard, this guy and his buddy were in the woods. He went to use the bathroom and told his buddy he'll be right back. His friend heard what sounded like a tree swinging or ruffling. He looked for his buddy who went to use the bathroom and he could not be found. A search was called and again, nobody ever found him till years later when a bunch of forest workers were digging up trees. The dude was dead beneath the roots of the tree. He apparently used the bathroom behind a downed tree with the roots still in the ground. When it flung back up, it crushed the poor guy. Sick story but must be told. Stay away from fallen trees that are NOT completely uprooted. Mm-hmm.

It wasn't intended to be a lecture and it wasn't intended for you. It was an interesting story I thought I'd tell since your comment reminded me of it (hense the reason I quoted you) and it was for anyone around downed trees in the future to be aware. The few people who've heard it were surprised as hell about that, as was I when I first heard it.

I'll be careful not to give you the impression of a 'lecture' from me in the future.

I'm sure there's one or some that wouldn't mind trying to do another. There's way too many pages to go through on here to try to archive them at the moment, but I guess someone could start from here on forward.

DAN!
07-14-2008, 04:42 PM
a lot of the early ones probably have broken links, too

Fanible
07-14-2008, 04:47 PM
Well it's easy enough to do. Could even save back ups in case of eventual broken links.

It would make more sense honestly to have the links and archive at the beginning of the thread where people were posting the pictures. I think that was the main problem with the other archive, because it kept disappearing. Otherwise I wouldn't mind starting and maintaining such a thread.

shained
07-14-2008, 04:47 PM
Also i imagine there will be a hell of a lot of people who used to post a lot but don't even visit the site anymore. Fanibles idea of someone making a completely new one is good, and could probably be stickied so it isn't "lost to dust" ;)

But who's the one who's going to step up and do it..........

DAN!
07-14-2008, 05:00 PM
you would need to put a committee together to do it. there are almost 1,000 pages to go through. and the people on the committee would have to have a lot of free time on their hands.
