For you Nascar fans. The Brickyard 400 is in town, and they had a couple of cars on display at some downtown bars.

And of course we have the obligatory religious nuts taking advantage of the crowds. They all had tshirts with race cars on them to lure people in. They had concerts as well. Some of them were holding trivia games that gave money. Of course that was all a ruse to suck you in. Here's their truck. I love how "faith" is at the top of the list. Idiots.

Because it is. Luckily my friends have a little bit of common sense and he left all the ammo at home.

See, there you go, perfect example. Makes for an amusing center piece.

I guess one thing learned from this is, if you're going to let your friends aim guns at you, always make sure you video tape it - just in case.

Amusing, yes... But an ear or arm doesn't apply when it's a 12-gauge. ;)

More like a head or half a torso. That more then likely applies in this case.

Where are the traffic cones?

For almost twenty years Glaswegians (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glaswegians) have enthusiastically upheld a tradition of placing traffic cones on top of a statue of the Duke of Wellington that stands in the city center. You can even buy postcards and t-shirts displaying a cone-wearing Wellington.

We destroyed the shirt before I even put it on.... I didn't even think that the hand print would end up where it did.

And Dawn of the Dead was just on for fun. We went to a zombie movie at the theater tonight, so we were just trying to set the mood.

Not really, it's a pet parade they go to every year. She's just focused on things around her.

Elera doesn't like dress up but she tolerates it well - and she loves all the attention and other dogs at the parade.

My sister's other dog likes to dress up but isn't fond of big crowds, so she gets the suit made up on her and Elera gets to go to the parade.

Yes, it is a 2006 Honda Civic Coupe EX. I did not get the NAV with it as it was another $2000 expense. The OEM stereo was great, but I have since added a double din in-dash DVD/TV/CD/NAV stereo (aftermarket). I also had 18% tint, painted the calipers red, and bought and installed Si wheels. Its a five speed manual and I usually get about 38 mpg on the highway. Its a great car that I have owned for 2 years now (she was one of the first 100 2006s made).

that is beautiful.

Some guys are comfortable with it, but I never was.

You shaved your head? Does that explain the long hair now?Well, partially. I had my hair kinda long in high school, and after having to keep my hair so short for so long when I was in the Army, I didn't really want to keep it that short again. Besides, I think it looks better longer anyway.
