Its a horrible picture, but its me at Wal-Mart during the big "toy release" weekend. The photo department was taking pictures in front of the Vader cutout and giving them free to customers, so I couldn't pass it up...because I'm such a geek. ;)

It's weird....so many people use photobucket, or have to e-mail to Frizzo. I have free webspace from my ISP. I get 10MB per mailbox, and I have 2 mailboxes. Yeah, 20 MB isn't a whole lot, but I've found it remarkably useful to host images, avatars, act as a middleman for getting documents or videos distributed in forums, etc. I thought that a lot of ISPs gave free webspace.

Yeah, I'm a pilot. I have a private certification with an instrument rating (PP-ASEL IA). The instrument rating is the really cool part, it means I can fly in bad weather like zero visibility, and that I can land in airplane when airports have heavy cloud cover or thick fog (the minimums vary from airport to airport).

That plane is a PA-28-161 Piper Cherokee "Warrior II", tail number N9260T. I have a lot of fond memories of flights in 60T -- I did most of my instrument training in it.

Trust me, it's worth it. It's a dream a lot of people have but have a hard time finding the time or worse yet the money. If you can at all find a way, do it. I promise you won't regret it.

Just take a demo flight. That's when you go to a flight school, pay like $30-$50 and they take you up for a half-hour flight where you get the feel of it. They'll even let you fly the plane a little.

It's therefore part of the game to poke fun at others, it helps take the edge off of the fact that in real life, we're always getting REAL crap from people.

If you post your picture here, you should expect some cracks. I don't mean anything goes, there are obviously things that are inappropriate, but for the most part -- get over it.

Actually he's not a jerk at all in person, he's actually really quiet. Surplus store, cheap as dirt (hint hint). The flak vest I got was military issue, the knee and elbow pads from another on-line shop. The knives are real, a camp bolo-style machete and bowie. The boots I actually use for work in security. The gloves are really work-out gloves but they exact the ones RPD uses.
