Ah.....that one. Well, that picture is 5 years old. But as far as I know, my hair was the same colour then that it is now...it might be quite a bit darker now though..but I was also in sunlight in that one as well, so that could make the colour look different.

I've always been told I have the prettiest eyes, ever since I was little that's the first thing anyone says about me. They're just really blue...I actually love brown eyes on girls. I think they're just cute, adorable, and sexy. So be proud Rogue ;) ..

However, on a side note, I guess I'm paying the price for having pretty eyes by having horrible eyes. I've worn glasses sice 5th grade, switched to soft contacts in 8th, then recently I noticed my vision getting worse out of nowhere. I went to the doctor and was diagnosed with (I'm not gonna try and spell it), but it's my cornea pretty much disintegrating causing it to bulge in places of my pupil which in turn means bad bad sight. It's only bad in my right eye, but they say my left eye could be hit with it later down the road. So last week I had to switch to gas permeable lenses. They're hard and about the size of a pea. They feel like a rock in your eye for the first week or so, but I'm starting to get used to them. Supposedly, they'll stop the cornea from getting worse and it corrects my vision so I can gladly see 20/20 now. If these hadn't of worked for me, however, I would have to have a corneal transplant and that surely doesn't sound fun. :eek:

You only have 20/250, southern? Wow, that's not too bad compared to mine. Without glasses I have 20/400, which makes me borderline legally blind. :cool: (yes, the smiley with glasses was intended as a pun)

the woman giving me the pre-exam test lined me up with a door about 2-3 feet from the chart to which i told her i can't see a thing.....i ended up at the doorway right before the chart:( which was like 1/2 a foot away

I can totally relate to the unable to see charts without glasses. I'm thinking you better be right in that there is writing on there because it looks like a white smudge on the wall to me! I've had bad vision most of my life, so I'm kinda used to it. I go to Charlotte to the eye doctor next Tuesday and I'm wondering if there's any chance I could get a consultation for LASIK surgery or a fitting for contacts. I'd love to think I could see again...

For everybody that has perfect vision and/or no eye problems, you don't know just how truly blessed you are.

I know there are risks involved and that things can go wrong, but they're learning more and more about the procedure all the time and the doctors there in Charlotte are some of the most experienced with LASIK in the states :) I know of several people that have had it done and they say it is one of the best things to ever happen to them. I'd at least like to get a consultation to see what they think they could do with my eyes.

Yep that's it. It's really only affecting my right eye so far, but the left eye is started to show signs. I just switched to gas permeable lenses last week and I've gotten used to them well. So things are looking good. :applaud:

These harder lenses kind of act like a bandage for the cornea to keep it from getting worse, however, they don't actually heal the eye...Thanks pixi!
