Super Bowl tradition will continue two Sundays from now as the Eagles from the NFC and Patriots from the AFC, two teams you could have predicted from week one, will take part in an epic clash of titans on sports' biggest stage. The game, which will take place at Alltel stadium is riddled with subplots. Among these are the oppurtunity for the Patriots to solidify themselves as a dynasty by winning their third world title in four years and the question of whether or not Philly's T.O. will play.

The game features a matchup of arguably the two best coaches in the NFL today in Andy Reid and Bill Belichick. The Patriots are trying to repeat while the Eagles have not been to a Super Bowl since their 1980 loss to the Raiders. The Eagles have never won the Super Bowl.

Both teams feature excellent veteran leadership and large amounts of pro-bowlers. Both teams are led by hard nosed defense and capable offenses ran by proven QBs Tom Brady and Donovan McNabb.

At this point the Patriots are considered the favorites and will most likely remain that way up until the game.

After watching the highlites and a few replays, I'm taking New England even with 7 points. Philly's D is under-rated, but there are still some holes the Pats will be able to open wide. That and the AFC is just too far ahead of the NFC, I don't think the Eagles have too much hope. But it would be nice to se Philly win the big game.

For a 3-point game, it sure was dull. Such sloppy play is never fun, and the Eagles seemed to give up towards the end.
