Hey guys. I just wanted to know what are your feelings about these movies coming out next week.
Hide and Seek
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00005JNO6.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
A father discovers his 9 year-old daughter has come up with an unexpected and terrifying way of dealing with her mother's death through an imaginary friend. The daughter has an imaginary friend named Charlie, and her father soon realizes that Charlie isn't make believe.
And
Alone in the Dark
http://images.amazon.com/images/P/B00005JNSE.01.LZZZZZZZ.jpg
Edward Carnby investigates a mystery that brings him face to face with bizarre horrors that prove both psychologically disturbing and lethal. He discovers that evil demons worshiped by an ancient culture called the Abskani are planning on coming back to life in the 21st century to once again take over the world! Only he and a young genius with an incredible memory stand in their way. Standing in Carnby's way is the impact that a brief encounter with an evil spirit called the Queen had upon his mind as he slowly finds himself overpowered by the forces of darkness as they eat away at his very sanity. Based on the popular series of videogames.
Here are my feelings. Ok first of all I will see both of these movies because one I love Robert D'Niro and 2 I want to give Uwe Boll one last chance to prove himself. Anyway I think Hide and Seek will be the better of the 2. Anybody want to speculate on what Charlie really is?

I think alone in the dark may suck, because it's from boll, even though I havn't seen house of the dead. But I really don't need too from what I hear. Hide and seek looks good, but who knows it could turn out ****.

the monster in Alone in the dark looks like the same FREAKING monster that is in Resident evil 4 just Knocked off, its a JOKE,and resident evil says ALL OUR MONSTERS ARE AUTHENTIC yea ok.
Hide and Seek ill prob see on dvd only cause robert deniro is in it, although him in a movie like this would be better to watch then HIM in a comedy, he sucks in comedy movies,
My Birthday is on he 28th, i would watch these but i HATE the THEATER,so ill stay home and make fun of these films during commercials

I've seen the trailers for both movies already, "Hide And Seek" looks to be a decent thriller while "Alone In The Dark" looks to be another "Resident Evil: Apocalypse", which focused more on Action then horror, an element which is really essential especially considering it's gaming background.

Im interested in both, but i think both will probably be bad, i want to see Alone in the Dark because i also want to give Uwe Boll one last chance, and im interested in how he got that cast, though not a great cast, better than what i expected to see from one of his movies! And Hide and Seek, im interested in what/who Charlie is, but i honestly don't think the trailers make it look very good, and the line at the end of the trailer from Dokata Fanning drives me crazy "Come out, Come out wherever you are...". But i see loads of movie, so might as well see these two.

with House Of The Dead director Uwe Boll's name attached to Alone In The Dark..it will give me reason enough to never have any interest whatsoever in seeing it.
as for Hide and Seek.
im really starting to tire of all these ghost stories.
ill wait for the dvd.

Alone in the Dark looks absolutely awful.
Hide and Seek looks better, now that I know it's rated R. Finally, an R-rated horror/thriller.

Both are rentals, Alone in the Dark looks horrible, Hide and Seek generic. But like I said I'll rent them then decide for sure....
Do you really! want to know who/what Charlie is? because if you REALLY do, look in the spoiler below, you've been warned.
Deniro's father character David Callaway, is Charlie

Somebody needs to kill Uwe Boll before he gets a hold of a fan favorite Video game and ruins it.
