Hello one and all! I currently run http://www.apollolounge.com/ and we are doing a site re-design/overhaul. We are curious to know what gamer's would like to see in their ideal gaming website. Any comments, suggestions, or ideas are welcome. Thanks!

Easy navigation is key to any website, I hate getting lost in a page. Try not to overcrowd too. I like lighter pages, bright colors yknow?
Aside from asthetics, you know what I would like to see in a gaming website-- a dual review. One game graded by two people, siskel and ebert style (or ebert and roeper depending on whether you wanna get technical). That way I get two informed opinions and hopefully get both the good and the bad. Forums are welcome too.

Thanks for the input
I usually visit www.gamespot.com and www.gamefaqs.com. Those are the sites for me.
But it won't stop me checking out this Apollo Lounge ;)

Gamespot (http://www.gamespot.com), Fileplanet (http://www.fileplanet.com), and Gamerankings (http://www.gamerankings.com).
Quality, Quanity, Informative

I'm sorry, but Gamespot is one of the most versatile gaming websites available, giving evenly well made reviews against every game of every kind. They also don't usually give over-exagerated one's most of the time (like 10 out of 10's, which would mean a game is perfect, which is ridiculous).

shouldn't we try to focus on cipher's concern for a better site?

It was just a random statement of another reason why I enjoy them, that they don't over-exagerate reviews. 10/10 was also just a random example (not a main factor). The main concern about my comment in relation to yours was merely that they are not biased towards any system, as you claim. I could care less about what site you prefer.
No ones treading on your toes, son, it's ok.

Well, the best Nintendo sites on the web:
GameCubeHeaven.Tk (http://www.gamecubeheaven.tk), Cubed3 (http://www.cubed3.com), GBA.N64Europe.Com (http://gba.n64europe.com/)
As for other consoles, TeamXbox (http://www.teamxbox.com) is pretty good.
The best 'big' sites: GameSpot (http://www.gamespot.com), GameSpy (http://www.gamespy.com), IGN (http://www.ign.com), N-Sider (http://www.n-sider.com)
The best place for walkthroughs, cheats, etc. with games: GameFAQs (http://www.gamefaqs.com).
The best places for gaming statistics and the like: GameRankings (http://www.gamerankings.com), GameStats (http://www.gamestats.com).
Best message board on the 'net for the latest in gaming goss and discussion: Gaming-Age Forums (http://forums.gaming-age.com/forumdisplay.php?f=2).
The big sites are usually slow on news, but good on features, so just watch out on that. ;) So that's the 411 on where to go online about gaming.

anyone that thinks sites like gamespot dont have a bit to much bias is just a little in denial
howerver i do trust 90% of their reviews so i ignore the biais when it comes around.
I find if they give a game 8+ i almost enjoy it greatly.
