Has anyone seen the new IFC show Henry's Film Corner? I thought it was really good. It is the best film critic show on TV. It gets at all the points people want to hear especially the IFC audience.
What did you think of the show?

No, the show's premiere was Dec. 4. There are no clips left but you can catch it again on Saturdays at midnight on IFC. You can get to his site though www.ifctv.com. Its not the average review show though. I forgot to mention this but Henry is Henry Rollins(musician, public speaker, actor) and he has a different type of reviewing.
On the premiere episode:
1.He went one-on-one with David Fincher(director of Fight Club, Seven, and Panic Room). First they talked about David's films but then they watched a movie(on their own time together) and discussed it. This movie was Dr. Strangerlove. Henry gives this movie 4/4(could be 5) stars(i forget the max number of stars)
2.Next, he brought in his electrician. This segment is when he brings in everyday people to talk about movies. Together they watched The Life Aquatica and discussed it one-on-one.Henry gave it 3.5/4(could be 5) stars
3. Then he did a segment called Typecast. He brought in a group of 3 people to state what they think about how their group of people has been protrayed in movies. On this episode there were 3 firemen talking about how they were protrayed in Ladder 49. They were very pleased with the protrayal. They said the fire fighting was very accurate.
4. Last segment i didnt care for. It was a girl Henry knows who states the best genre flicks. She gets very specific. This episode was best breakup movies. I stopped paying attention and discussed the previous topics with my friends at that point. I believe she said High Fidelity was the best.
5. He has a last segment where he reads peoples emails or something like that. He didnt do it this time because it was the pilot. Im not sure about this part because i was still discussing previous topics but you might get your email on the show by emialing henry@ifctv.com. Email him and whine about bad movies or glorify good movies or give him suggestions of a good movie that he might not have seen.
