I heard that they might make a super mario movie and some other nintendo games. I always wanted a super mario movie and my dream might just come true. so what do you think about this new idea of bringing these games to the big screen. I think the hot chick should read this because she started that CS community thread about video games/nintendo movies and other posters making them.

There already was a Super Mario Bros. movie. It sucked. Tremedously.

yeah, i doubt they will go back to that. I hope they are talking about Zelda. I have a feeling they might be talking about Metroid though. They said a franchise will have a movie in 2006, i HOPE its not Mario. Its probably going to be Metroid though.

Dammit! No, no! Super Mario Brothers is the best movie ever made!
As for Zelda, I don't know if it would work. It seems like a hard game to translate to the big screen. As long as it doesn't end up looking, you know, anything like Lord of the Rings, then I suppose there's potential.

?? What does Zelda have to do with LOTR?
I dont get it. fans is always bashed for always comparing with lotr, but when it is infact always the non-fans who brings it up.......?
I dont get how you could even get that assossiation? thats like lets make a movie about Metroid - Yes, just dont make it look like star wars.... Ehm, say what? what does that got to do with anything? :)

Actually if they can find a way to revamp the Mario Brothers they could actually make it work. Who knows.

Yeah but just think about the Mario Brothers storyline? Its kind of unbelievable, and it would look stupid. After Lord of the Rings Zelda and Metroid could work.
I mention LOTR because they are both a fantasy like movie. Theres really no GOOD way a mario movie could work.
