Out of curiosity, where did you get that number from? Because I don't see how it could possibly be right, unless my math is just way off. I mean, multipying 78 by 365 gives you 28470. There were certianly more than 9 leap years in the 78 year stretch, so it has to be much higher.

Then I seriously think you need to recheck your source on that one about the days. The math is way off. My answer might be wrong, but its certianly a lot closer than whatever your source has.
Oh, and what about the question you asked about which two planets don't have moons? I don't think you credited anyone with that.
One more thing....I think the answer to this question is Samuel Colt.
Drizzt240
09-28-2004, 07:52 PM
Okay, I've looked into the day question myself and I get 28489 myself. I'm hoping this was an isolated event and I'm guessing it was a typo. I think someone accidently put a 7 instead of an 8 and to make this less cofusing I've decided to make each question 1 point.
And Colt is correct.

well, technically speaking, a rainbow can have no shape, as there is no way that you can determine the "start" and "finish" of the raindow, due to the rainbow being due to the refraction of light. as as you move, so will the "start" and "finish" of the rainbow. so it can have no shape.

At first it came in other colours. But once Ford got his "assembly line" really going, about 1913, I think, they switched to all black because, like you said, it dried much faster. In fact, the first year the car was made, black wasn't even available, I believe. But that was for only a very short time. For nearly all of its run, black was the only colour.

No one really knows if Henry Ford ever said that the buying public could have Model T Fords "in any color, so long as it's black", but it is commonly attributed to him. While this saying is true for the model years after 1913, earlier cars were available in green, red, blue and grey. In fact, in the first year, Model T Fords were not available in black at all. The switch to all black cars was likely due to Ford's optimization of the assembly line and to reduce the time lost waiting for the various paints to dry. In 1926 colors other than black were once again offered, in an attempt to boost sales. The Advent of the Model T seemed to renew a sense of independence among Americans who had lost their pioneer spirit to industrialization. Yet the methods that Henry Ford devised for producing his car so efficiently advanced that very industrialization. Like its inventor, the Model T represented both high ideals and hard practicalities.
Not trying to be technical, just stating facts. ;)
