The best would have to be the original Superman. I can't think of any purely bad comic movies I've seen. Batman & Robin was a funny, corny razzle dazzle show hearkening back to the old batman show. I liked it. Hulk was an experimental artsy superbeing movie. I liked it for the most part. LXG was a fun adventure film that didn't take itself too terribly seriously (some critics took it too seriously).

Maybe the least of the comic book movies is the Superman movie with Richard Pryor. That was just dumb.

I agree with LXG, Catwoman, Batman3,4, Superman3,4, Jedge Dredd, etc being trash, but i kinda liked Hulk.
Anyway, let us all hope that Sin City is gonna be the best comic book adaptation ever, because if it is, considering the comics the moviell be incredible.

Punisher -some of it was really lame, but the last 20 minutes made up for it, I hope that theres a sequel
Daredevil- some really cool stuff, but extremely inconsistent and unrealistic and Micheal Clark Duncan bites balls in it.

My lists are based on movies adapted from comics that I had read.

Best: Superman-the Movie, Spider-man 2, Batman, Batman Returns, Spider-man, Superman II, Punisher, Hulk and Daredevil.

Worst: Superman III, Steel and Batman and Robin.

Here's the thing, there are A LOT of great comic to film adaptations...but does that mean I liked em?I didnt care for Spiderman, but I admit it was a great translation.

Punisher, the new one looks like absolute crap tho. And Mask 2, ouch. Elektra looks like dookie, and geez...Im shocked...from the footage Ive seen Sin City looks quite boring and dull IMHO.

Ohhhhhh yes.

1 It should of been a rated R or NC-17 movie. The movie was so watered down and made to be innocuous and mass consumable... what a waste!
2 Sean Connery: apparently, they decided to make it a Sean Conner vehicle... that spelled its ruin right there.
3 Tom Sawyer?! Tom Sawyer?! Ug!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
4 WTF happened to the characters and story from the book? It's not in the movie.

But hey, people who didn't care about the book probably enjoyed it more.
