Which budget graphics cards are best? At the moment I only have a Geforce2 mx400 but have 640mb RAM and 1.8GHZ processor. I need an affordable card which needs to be PCI also  Ive seen a few nVidia 5200 pci cards but ive heard that the 5200 card is not good, any help?

Are you sure you havent got an AGP port? Nearly all computers has one. Anyway, the only "new" pci card that is close to ok as i know of is the 5200. But it is not a good card. 1. it works on PCI, which is much slower then AGP. 2. The card itself isnt a very good card. But its probably the best you can get on the PCI port for an affordable price.

I found another which was an XFX nVidia 5700 PCI once for a very low price but its dissappeared and no i dont have any AGP ports but the rest of my computers specs are good, this is my only problem :(

It would be easier to upgrade by the sounds of it, just buy a new Mobo and Graphics card, PCI graphics are ****.

Ive found a 256mb version of the nvidia 5200 card for only £63, its probably the best i can get at this moment in time so i think ill buy it, hope it will run battlefront.

You are free to do what you like of cource, but if it was me, i would save some more money and buy a new motherboard and an AGP card instead....
