Not a 10 out of 10, but still a good score and I still can't wait to get my hands on it.

i'm not suprised as this game is a hollow shell of what it was supposed to be. however after reading the review the score seems a little high.

I've been reading IGN reviews for years, and I don't think they've ever given a 10 /10.

Anyway, Boromir is right, the game is just a shell of what it was supposed to be. The development team was too ambitious and couldn't pull through in the end, even if it's a great game it isn't what it was supposed to be.

I agree that they were too ambitious and I think they should of kept their mouths shut so early in development, but it's still a good game and I can't wait for it.

i think ign gave ocarina of time a 10 out of 10, but i might be mistaken on that.

Ign has given two 10/10's, Orcarina of time, and soul caliber 2. I agree with orcarina of time. There should be two more by november, halo 2 and half life 2.

Did fable come out yesterday? I leave on a trip today, but i kinda want to pick it up.

If you are an IGN insider (like me :) ) There is a 15 minutes video review of Fable on ign. It is very good. The reviewer share many of your thoughts here. Like they where to ambitious and stuff.

Well that depends. I for one find IGNs taste very close to my own. If they rate a game low i can be 99 % sure that i wont like it. So why shouldnt i listen to them. It would be stupid to just throw the money out of the window because I absolutely wanted to make up my own mind about it ;)

Just picked this up yesterday and played it for a good four hours. So far, I think it's great, the fighting is pretty good and the story is solid too. I haven't gotten far enough in to buy houses or anything yet. I would describe the game as a much less hardcore Morrowind.

Damn, blockbuster was out, ill just have to play it in a few days. I'm not too bummed though, Half life two will hopefully be out by mid october and Halo 2 is out early nov so i'll have plenty of gaming to do.

I am the assasain now. I have played about eight hours now, and the more you get in the more and more you realize you can do. The game is almost unreal.

Awesome, I took my time in training and it took me like almost 2 hours. I did the race thing and killed the sparrows.

Another thing that was cool is at the begining. The guy you catch cheating on his wife and he wants to bribe you. Don't accept the bribe and instead go tell his wife. Then follow his wife and you'll see everything. Pretty hilarious. I'm gonna go play some more right now.

After I beat the game I plan on beating it again with a pot lead.

Lol, I didn't even know you could do that.I suppose I'm in the middle of good and evil. Probably a little more evil than good, but I just do what I feel like and don't really try to be one or the other.

I would say it is a lot like Zelda. Just a bit more mature. There is a lot more to do in Fable too. You can buy houses, get married, and even get drunk. You have total control over what missions you complete and what you don't It isn't as linear as Final Fantasy or Zelda though.

I got it and it was well worth the buy, kinda slow and i wasnt sure it was worth it, but once you graduate from the guild, my god is it incredible, i love this game so much and already can't wait to start a new game, after i beat it first of course

Great game, managed to rack up around 12 hours of gameplay over the weekend, still working on getting the "Sword in the Stone", need all 3 strength meters full to do it, so far Ii have 1 full and 2 lvl 5........ mainly just messing about, 100% Good, get a Halo and butterflies

Also a little hint, buy a house, smash the front door, hang a trophy on the plaques provided, sell the house at a profit, go back in take your trophies down, make a quick 3000 gold
