If you could vacation in any city in the world where would you be? If you recently had a summer vacation, where was it? Tell us a little story.

Monaco, Monte Carlo. If you have some extra money...never been there but i'd like to.

Nice, Nizza, or however you write that in english. Côte D'Azur is always fine.

On my next-year-have-to-visit-list:

NY. Sad, sad, never been to USA, but i'll be in NY for a week next January)
Dublin. I'd like to go fishing with my mate. Hope there is a lake with a quiet place to relax. love irish beer.
Hong Kong. can't wait! :D

Im am considering going to rome for my honeymoon.

Can anyone recomend it

GGGG

I love Roma, but not sure about the honeymoon... there is too much to see and 1 week is enough to cover it if you walk all day etc. + it is full of people so not good for having private moments. I visited it this summer again and there was a couple at the Trevi Fountain having a glass of champagne... could have been romantic but people weere clapping etc. it was more embarrassing for them I think, I recomend it for anniversaries. For honeymoon go to Fiji ... that is where I would go

Go to Nice alternatively, or Madrid/Barcelona, or go to Portugal if you want Europe
Roma is 30 mins away from the beach but it is not that nice, just the usual stuff

last big city I was in was Athens, and that was this summer. I absolutely love Athens, granted it's hot as hell during the summer and the pollution makes it hard to breathe, but besides that, it's an amazing city to visit. I was there last fall, and I'd definitely recommend anyone thinking about going to Athens, to go during the fall. That's when it's still kinda warm, but not so hot that you can barely move. There're some really cool excavations and of course a lot of ancient ruins to see if you're interested in ancient archaeology. Also the national museum and the museum at Acropolis is worth a visit. It's really easy to get around in Athens, thanks to their great metro system. People are really nice and you can find lots of great places to eat, Greek food is the best. The view from the Acropolis at night is worth the visit alone.

I just got back from New York, it was pretty cool. Lots of people, lots of walking. I would like to go back when I'm 18 with my sister or some friends because my parents aren't the funnest people to vacation with. There's not much to do there when your 15 and have no money.

I would really like to go to basically anywhere in Europe. My sister went to Ireland, and she said it was beautiful and that the people were really nice, so I really want to go there.

Branson, Missouri was a good vacation spot. Though there are alot of old annoying people that can't drive worth a **** and a bunch of cheesy country music shows. Other than that, they have Ripley's Believe It Or Not, a kick ass wax museum that is huge and its all of Hollywood stars and movie characters. Also there are two lakes there to chill at on a boat or rent jet ski's and do whatever on the water. Tons of resorts and cabins and stuff to rent by the lakes. There is a place called Silver Dollar City that is like an old fashioned city based in the old western days and there are very cool rides there, like rollercoasters, water rides and stuff. They also had a White Water there and it was pretty good size. There is another theme park there called Branson USA with huge rollercoasters and theme park rides like crazy. It was a rockin' place!

No city. Just a beach. Myrtle Beach. If you can't get laid there then you never will.

Well. not the city I'm in now :)
I like: Savannah. N'Orleans (for the food, mostly). NYC. Washington DC. Roanoke, VA (suprise! it's a cool little town) Chattanooga, TN (suprise again! nice place for vacation and it's easy to get out into other places.) San Diego. St. Louis. Charleston, SC. Madrid. Seville. Colorado Springs (again, it's what's outside of the city that is the real attraction.) and Orlando.

Maui. The beach is the best place to meet sexy people, especially hot lifeguards. Yeah, that, or anywhere on the east coast, particularly in Pennsylvania or New Jersey.
