Which one is the best?

Rome: Total War, The Lord Of The Rings: The Battle for Middle Earth, Black And White 2, and Kohan II: Kings of War are also very highly anticipated games coming out soon.

Also, I didn't put the expansions because I couldn't fit them.

But my vote is no doubt to starcraft. No strategy game has even gotten close to this.

But where is ground controll I and II? II is one of the best games this year.....

And where is Empire Earth? Ign strategy game of the year 2002......

I did... there is 20 spots and I chose the best 20 games and researched from multiple gaming sites, took me time as well... if you don't like the poll then make your own, simple.

and you cant have done much research. Included preatorians. Never gotten any game awards at all. Forgot age of empires II, which got better reviews then the first. Forgot the first red alert, which many says is one of the best games of all time. included the expansion to rise of nations, no need for that. Its still the same game as rise of nations. doesnt need 2 spots. Included war of the ring, which sucked, and got terrible reviews. included commandos 3, which didnt get near the same buzz and reviews as commandos 2.

Like I said... make your own if you don't like it, I took 20 minutes online to go do research and went to GameSpot, IGN, GameSpy, GanePro and looked at some Maximum PC magazines I have so if you want to continue to persist with your game "knowledge" then please do so but do it in your own poll thread with your own opinion of which should be in the poll.

I was having a bad hang-over earlier. So i apoligize for being rude. Never mind that slipnot. In the end i just wanted to give you some feedback. Just my view of it when you make a poll about best game in a genre you should include those games that over the course of years have been considered best in the genre. No offence mate. No hard feelings?

Does Age Of Empires II just go under Age Of Empires or under other? Age Of Mythology sucks by the way, it's nothing compared with Empires 2.

I suppose, I just couldn't fit 2... if it held 30 or so then I would have added every game possible. Age Of Mythology does suck but I have heard good things from other people and lots of people seem to like it so thats why I put it on there.

Yeah, i've heard alot of good things about it. But i cant understand why. I never liked Age of Mytholigy. Age of Kings is 10 times better... I hope they make up for that flaw in Age of Empires 3 (as of now officially suppose to come out november 2004. One word: Yeah right :) My guess: Christmas 2005 at the earliest)
