I didnt see a thread for this......Well, one labels Spiderman 2
reviews..anywhos, here goes!!
Well first of all, i watched it on a bootleg copy (i've slapped my wrist for that allready...) so i didnt get the full impact of seeing it in the cinema for the first time, with the D.Digital etc etc....but yet, this movie was darn good!
Granted, the first half made me want to go make a cup of coffee and do a crossword or something, well, the first 1/3rd. It was slow, INCREDIBLY cheesy (i know thats what spiderman is, but this cheesy was just boring), the opening scene with the pizzas didnt much do it for me, spidey swiming about, saw that for 2hours in the last movie.
But i stuck around and made myself watch it, which im glad to say, im happy i did! when parker handed his mask in, it started getting better, and the burning house scene was pretty damn good, and brought me right back into it!!
It then started to pick up speed again, and i started geting back into it!
Effects: SOOO much damn better than last time, okay, theyve had many technical advancments, but this was just sooo much better!! which could be seen when he tried to climb the walls, so much better than last time!! The skylines were just wow, thats to be handed to the cinematography, good job!
Acting: Very good! Harry was about the only one who at times dissapointed me...his "taking pictures of your friend" lines were a tad shoddy...but its a hard job acting :p. maguire was great! facial expressions, emotions, voice, everything, he was great! My faith is restored in Dunst, not too fond of her in the first....but she renewed my faith at the end....
BUT WHAT is with her dodgy look at the end....hmmmmm
OVERALL ----- a webtastic 8/10!! :D
