is it true that you have to play the games in order on the PS2 version?

i have the GCN one and you can play any of them at anytime. I just heard rumor that the PS2 was like that.

on legends you didn't wear the helmet for most of the game but i think you did get others. i had it for N64 and that's the first what popped in my head.

Whoa, back from the dead...


Whelp, on a very similar note Capcom is releasing the Megaman X Collection!

The bundle will apparently be comprised of the first three SNES Mega Man X games as well as the PlayStation versions of Mega Man X4 through X6. Additionally, Capcom will include the import Mega Man Battle & Chase. This Japan and Europe only PSOne cart racing game was not approved for North American distribution by Sony, so it should be quite a treat for fans of the series that shy away from imports.

Anyone who is anyone who knows about the X games, especially the SNES ones know how hard to find and expensive they are (search SNES Megaman X3 on ebay).

No release date set yet, but great news nonetheless :D
