Metal Gear the movie!

I was thinking since the success that metal gear has had for the past few years why not make a film. Many others are doing it, why not this cool character Snake and i know who would be great for the role of snake- Hugh Jackman. What do you guys think:applaud:

MGS is such a great franchise and i'd love to see it on big screen. the game IS acutally a movie. some people don't like the idea. i'd love to see it. Tom Jane would be a great Snake, even though he doesn't look like him. Kurt Russel looks lot like Snake, but i perfer Jane.

Jackman all the way. Of course kurt russel would be great becuz he is taken slightly from snake plissken, kurt russels character from escape from NY, but i think he is sadly to old for this role.

Cruise would be a good snake, and so would jackman. i would love to see this become a movie. MGS is one of my favorite games of all time.

Cruise would suck as Snake, he's more suited to Raiden...But then again Raiden is a crap character.

I wouldn't mind it, but I think Hollywood would give it all the attention it needs. If it were to be done right it would be great. If the studios don't take it serious and change the entire story sround (which hollywood does some times) and just pull it off as an action flisk it can be disasterous.

I found this a while back. Theres nothing official and I'm sure this will not happen but it's cool to look at.

I think Russell Crowe got what it takes to play Solid Snake.. the voice, personality the character... etc..

I think the movie would be cool, but I'd rather see a lesser known actor play Snake then any of the above.

He's 34-35 years old and is 6"2 in height. Perfect for Snake.

None of those choices would be particularly good imo.. Hugh Jackman I guess but the others are just random big named characters. I don't think any of them could play Snake and Hugh Jackman only looks like him, I'm not sure how good he'd actually be.

These are names you are going to see suggested by hyped kids for any movie... They would suggest Bruce Campbell and Hugh Jackman for the role of Cinderella too... stupid.

yeah your right, maybe since the game have been done perfectly and not many people know about Metal Gear 1 and 2:solid snake, who ever is at the helm could pick up those 2 movies and adapt them, could be cool
