personally i think the 80's was the best decade for movies especially comedy, adventure and gangster movies. so many classics were born during the 80's and some of the best films ever made! anyone else agree? and why is it that they were so good?

HOLY CRAP, I use to watch that movie all the time as a kid! Is that out on DVD? Also stunt double mentioned Cloak and Dagger, I use to watch that all the time too but I forgot all about those movies. Wonder if either of them are on DVD yet. I'm gonna do some research now.

Well, it looks as if Enemy Mine is however on DVD and I gotta buy it now, lol. I can't find the 80's Cloak and Dagger though.

The Thing with Kurt Russell. It was my first introduction to any scary movie.

Escape From New York, The Warriors, Ghostbusters, Friday the 13th pt 1-3, Death Wish 1-2, Star Wars-ROTJ, Police Academy 1-3, The Last Starfighter, Running Scared, Airplane 1-2, and so much more!

Teen and softcore movies: Porky, Last American Virgin, Joystick, Emmanulle, Private Lessons; just about anything with the Slyvia Kristal(I always wanted her to be my lover, still do), Takin' It Off 1-2, Boarding School, and etc.

And just about every film that Cannon made back then like Gymkata, The Delta Force, Pray For Death, Forced Vengance, FireWalker, King Solmemn Mines, and so many more.

The 80's movies in term of adventure, sex, violence, and acting was a decade of fun, entertaining movies. :applaud:
