Horrorshow

May is an independent film that kind of drops into other categories, such as romance, comedy, and of course, horror.
It's about a young woman, May (played by Angela Bettis), who was born with a lazy eye and had to wear an eye-patch through most of her childhood. It was because of this that she didn't have any friends as a child, except for Soozy, a doll given to her by her mother.
As an adult, she's kind of mousy, still doesn't have any friends, and lacks social skills. One day, she meets a guy named Adam (played by Jeremy Sisto), who she amourously pursues for the first half of the film. But after she manages to screw things up between Adam and herself one night, things start to take a really ****ed-up turn...
Although the film is pretty low budget, you wouldn't really know it. It's a pretty good flick. It's one of those films that belong in the same league as Donnie Darko.
So if you haven't seen it yet, I just wanted to recommend it.
