I thought I'd give this a try and see if it catches on. Connect the movies using ANYTHING but the cast and the production studio (i.e. 20th Century Fox, Universal, United Artists, etc.). If you know of the same dolly grip being in two movies, go with that. If you know that the exact same prop was useed in two movies, go for it. Anything but cast members or studio titles. Post new movie titles when you've solved it.
Example:
Braveheart - Saving Private Ryan
Braveheart - James Horner (composer) - Troy
Troy - Wolfgang Petersen (director) - Das Boot
Das Boot - The U-Boat - Raiders of the Lost Ark
Raiders of the Lost Ark - John Williams (composer) - Saving Private Ryan
First movies, I'll start off easy:
Star Wars: A New Hope - Pirates of the Caribbean

this might be a little tough

Ok just hope the Drogobaggins does find intrest in this thread or we will be researching 1950's french grips for the rest of the year. That guy is killing me on some of the other trivia threads.
Ok!
Star Wars: A New Hope - Rick Baker (makeup) - MIB 2
MIB 2 - Barney Burman (makeup) - Pirates of the Caribbean
Try:
Braveheart to The Last Temptation of Christ:p

Wait that can't work other wise this thread will get stupid real fast cause evert time I get stuck I will want to say that a car or a horse or a book could connect the links. No way I think that Dr.jones should make the final ruling on this, but I would vote against this kind of thing unless Warren can provide proof that the same exact cross was in both movies (via movia trivia listed on IMDB or some other movie trivia web site). At this time I do not consider mine solved. Sorry Warren.

What I mean is to keep it on the straight and narrow. Not just making goofy links cause you do not want to do the leg work.

Yeah, this is a tough trivia even for people that are pretty good.

That's why I started it. I thought it might be interesting, but I'm stumped on this last one.

Lord of the Rings:Fellowship of the Ring
to
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
Good luck on this one.

This one is tough but certainly not impossible so please don't skip over tough ones in favor of ones that are so simple that thread craps out...
Lord of the Rings:Fellowship of the Ring
to
Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers.
Both were directed by Peter Jackson. There yours is done.
Now back to the real one that is still in play:
A Clockwork Orange to Magnolia
A Clockwork Orange - John Alcott (Cinematographer) - No Way Out
No Way Out - Roger Donaldson (Director) - Thirteen Days
Thirteen Days - Michael De Luca (executive producer) - Magnolia
There "A Clockwork Orange" to "Magnolia" in three steps, was that so hard.
Try:
Little Big Man to Dances with Wolves
