I don't own a copy of that Clash song (or very many CDs for that matter) but I love it. I don't always have the time to post as much in these forums as I would like. Also, most of the time I don't feel like I have anything (or very much) to say, so I don't post very much. In fact, I'm surprised that I made it past 1000 posts at this site. If it wasn't for the Ravenwood or the battle/rate threads, I wouldn't have half the posts that I have. I'm trying to talk more but I get interupted alot.

"What a Wonderful World" is an excellent choice krull and I'm sure Indy would love it. Glad you love Aerosmith twaas but I find them to be terribly overplayed. I will choose The Tragically Hip's "Ahead By a Century". They are a great Canadian band that I don't get to hear very often anymore.

I found it a little annoying when I went to the grocery store today and they were playing christmas music. It's too early for this. What happened to waiting until after thanksgiving?

I don't know that song but I think Dolores Riordin (hope I didn't butcher her name) from the Cranberries has a beautiful voice. I only have 2 of their CDs .... now I'm drawing a blank on the album titles...lol... one is To the Faithful Departed. Love these CDs. Favourite songs of theirs are Zombie, Ode To My Family, Ridiculous Thoughts, Salvation, I Just Shot John Lennon and there's one more but I just can't think of the name right now. *orders water and plays the Cranberries on the jukebox*

OK ... I'm back and the contest is ready to begin.

*10 bottles are lined up along the bar. gnarley, using his right hand, cracks the whip and breaks the first bottle. On my second try, I double flick my wrist and smashes 2 bottles. Third try, back to counter, I turn quicky and snap the whip breaking the 4th bottle. Next, back to the bottles again, I use a hand held mirror to veiw the bottles as i break 2 more while only looking in mirror. I now stand with my back to the bottles with my legs spread apart, I break another bottle while snapping the whip from between my legs. Finally, I will break the remaining bottles blindfolded. All the bystanders quickly scramble to get out of the way. WHIP! WHIP!WHIP!! the last remaing bottles smash to pieces.*

*walks into bar with long black coat button to neck* gnarley.. drop the disco ball from the ceiling * goes to stage ..drops coat ..... there she stands in baggy white suit and shoes that are way too big .. she strikes the pose and begins to strut .. she stumbles over her rolled up pants legs and floppy shoes... she kicks off the shoes .... throws the jacket down and stamps off the stage... complete silence then a quiet sound of krull krull krull.. louder.. krull KRULL KRULL .. suddenly, the spotlight lights up the stage..there stands krull in her beautiful pink ballet dress and slippers....her hair up with pink ribbons .. she is in perfect stance with head bent like avy ..in the background bach-arioso for brass is playing .. she gracefully raises her arms above her head ..her fingers almost touching .. then she glides softly on her toes as though she is floating on air..her dress flows and then gently carrasses her body as she spins and turns..she is one with the music .. she quietly ends her dance in the middle of the stage with her head once again bent downward.....the audience is hushed ..she hears someone holler* what was that???.... gnarley begins to clap then todd, twaas, fluke clap .... soon there is a thunderous applaud ..krull turns solid red from blushing ..she smiles and leaves the stage ...gnarley hears krull behind the stage*.gnarley..gnarley bring me a drink i need it.... no more dancing for me..... was i ok... i will never say i am going to dance again .............whew......*carries a bottle home with her as she leaves the bar*....

*gnarley watches krull leave the bar, when suddenly the back door bursts open. Indy rushes in, turns a fires a couple of rounds from his revolver before a dozen goons storm in. He dives behind the bar next to me and fires a few more shots, wounding a couple of the goons. He then realizes that he dropped the golden headpiece that he was carrying. He sees a goon pick it up, leaps over the bar, knocks out 2 goons and wrestles the one with the head piece. Another goon comes up behind Indy and prepares to shoot, when gnarley picks up a stool and smashes the goon over the head. Indy slugs the goon, grabs the head piece, jumps up onto the bar, snaps his whip onto a beam above the middle of the bar, then swings and knocks over the goons blocking the door, tips his hat and escapes out into the night. The remaining goons pick up their fallen comrads and pursue Indy into the darkness.*

*looks at the mess then says* I'm not cleaning this up again. *goes back to make another shadow puppet and waits for krull to return.

Don't feel too bad krull, Indy didn't have time to ask about you. He fended off a dozen goons and was in the bar only about 10 minutes and spent the whole time fighting them off. I had to save him, a goon was about to shoot him when I smashed a stool over the guy's head. Oh and Indy could return sooner.

She was going to send a bag of Smarties but customs wouldn't let her but she could send homemade stuff, doesn't make much sense.
