I'm Off To India

Me and my family is leaving for India today to visit my hugh family. I will be gone a month. I will be so bored and I will miss coming here to the forum, plus I will miss alot of info on the latest movies, especially Spiderman 2, but I will be back before the movie starts in theatres.

One question for you guys, do they allow batteries on the plane, because I'm planning on taking my CD player walkman?

Of course they do.

Just dont use any electronic stuff during take off and landing.

And as for mobile phones,thats banned throughout the flight.

Also,dont place those batteries too near to clocks or watches whatsoever.Might get into some trouble at the airport.

Dont bring anything sharp as well.Haha.My bag got searched once,and it sucks to have your stuff tossed out in front of everybody.

PsYkOo - yea Ive had my bag searched too (Im just doing my job (bastard))- if you run through customs really fast sometimes you can get out before they get there :)

there is Internet connection there, but you have to pay an hourly fee or something. And probably i won't miss Spiderman 2 advertisements, the movie was a hit in my country, so i probably won't miss the commericals and posters. Heck, i might even get the chance to get a pirated VCD there before the movie comes out, hehe, just kidding.

Ive been padded down a few times - and been mistaken for terrorists becuase the girl I was with had the wrong sort of accent when she spoke spanish. Oh well, these things are all part of the fun.

You know,i was taking a plane once and a tall arabic guy sat beside me.He was carrying this huge luggage in his hands.I was freaked out i tell ya.He has the most haunting eyes.But,Im still in one piece.

South India, if you are near Bangalore, you will nave no probs with the Internet connection, they have decent speeds (although sometimes they go offline for a while for no visible reason!).

hey guys, e-mailing here in an Interent cafe in Southern India. It's hot here, but it's tropical hot with cool breeze. Just wanted to let you guys know that i'm fine, the long trip here was nausiating, barfed once, it's all good.

The connection here is very slow, it took me awhile to login here. Well, it's highly unlikely that i will come back to this cafe, because me and my family will be traveling to various places, so no time to do some Internet surfing. Hope i'm not missing anything special there, except info on the latest updates for movies. Ok, well, talk to you guys later.

it was a long flight to India
3 flights, 19 hours, including the many hours we had to wait at the Gate in the airport.
