Star Wars Original Trilogy Or Lord Of The Rings Trilogy??

I prefer lord of the rings but i think it's because it's newer and fresh but the original star wars is still a classic

Sure there is no thread with this title but in all the other Matrix vs. Lotr or Matrix vs Star wars. it eventually dwindles down to LOTR vs Star Wars. i just can't take another one. i know that I will keep coming back and checking it, I am dumb like that and I will respond to SO LETS STOP IT BEFORE IT HAPPENS!

*sigh* ....fine....I like LOTR better *looks around quick* BUT I love the OT of Star Wars. I think I like LOTR better because it is a trilogy classic on par with star wars that happened during my time, you know what I mean? But if you take that out, they might be even.

I like them both too much to pit them against one another (its like hector vs acchilles in TROY, i don't want any to win or lose)

I think LOTR, but it has been so long since I saw the OT that I can really not be sure. Maybe if I see it I will think it is better, but right now it'd be LOTR by a hair.

But LOTR vs. Ep I and II, well..........LOTR completely destroys them.

I love the Star Wars Trilogy, but I love LotR trilogy more. So I say LotR Trilogy is better than Star Wars. But either way, I'm getting them all on DVD. So can watch both trilogies over and over again.
