You can't HANDLE the truth is from A View Good Men. Jack Nicholsons famous line.

Not so, The Princess Bride is a classic adventure spoof in the style on an Errol Flynn movie forom the 40's.
According to IMDB:
The Princess Bride in 1986 cost 16 million to make and it grossed over 30.8 million. This in 1986 is a good return for this size of film.
Where as Hellboy cost 66 million and to date has only grossed only 58 million. This in todays standards is considered a flop.
Hellboy might just pay itself off before it hits the dollar theaters, but I would certainly not say that it would MURDER the Princess Bride.
BTW PB is a great film, thumbs up for light swash-buckling humor.

"In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway. "
